Let me start by saying Analena is the absolute best doula out there! We’ve had 3 different doulas for each of our babies, from Csection to first VBAC to second VBAC (with Analena). She’s a yes person, keeps it real, helped make my birth plan go as smoothly as possible, and was even down to do the craziest requests like dancing during labor with me. She came prepared, she literally jumped right into hip squeezes as a contraction started when she arrived. I was shocked but that helped immensely right away! She helped me rest when I was tired but also kept things going to not stall labor, she was my voice and brain to help me remember things I wanted to do. She prayed over my husband and I, as well as our baby girl during labor. She’s super respectful, sweet, funny, caring, all the things I could’ve hoped for and more! She was like an angel sent to help during such a big transitional life event, bringing our third baby earth-side. Hands down, 10/10 would recommend her. ??

Analena was everything I could've wanted in a doula for my first birth which was unmedicated and in a hospital.  Analena will not only be a professional help, but a friend. Our meetings beforehand with my husband and I were insightful and informative. We really felt prepared in knowing what to expect. It was so nice as labor began to have someone to contact and advise us - even at 3am when we reached out, she was available and ready to help. Without her we definitely would have panicked and gone straight to triage! I got to labor at home for a bit and felt so safe knowing we had her. She thought of everything to make the process my dream birth - lights, music, oils, snacks, birthing tools. My labor was long, at 26 hours, and she helped me along in progressing and staying in it. One of my initial concerns in hiring a doula was that birth would feel like WE were the team instead of my husband and I. She supported BOTH of us in helping that experience be something connective and what my husband and I wanted. I seriously couldn't have done it without her. A priority for us was also that we had someone faith-based and Analena was the right pick! She prayed for us and with us and kept the birthing room atmosphere exactly what we hoped for. She is the one you want!

My husband and I had an incredible first home birth with Analena as our Doula and I believe she was absolutely pivotal to me getting the birth outcome I deeply desired. This was my very first birth ever, and my labor experience was one my midwives were awestruck with because of how well it went. From the planning and envisioning of our birth with Analena, to the actual experience, everything was showered with intentionality and care. She came as soon as we needed her, and had a presence full of peace and confidence throughout the entire birth. When I struggled to breathe, she did it with me. When I needed a change in positioning she knew exactly what to do. She included my husband in every part of the process and never took over the experience. She even captured moments on my phone that I will treasure forever, just because she knew I'd want them later! I honestly can't imagine our birth without her and I'm forever grateful for her. You can expect support from her post labor as well, as she brings homemade protein snacks and helps you through any nursing struggles you might find yourself in. She's amazing.

Analena helped me reach my goal of an unmedicated birth and was a source of support throughout the whole labor process. She advocated for my birth plan, helped me be as comfortable as possible with hip squeezes, changing positions, etc. She is very knowledgeable and is all-in with whatever stage of labor I was in. And ultimately, she made me feel comfortable and empowered.

I’ve never met anyone so perfectly suited for their calling as Analena! She was made to be a doula. From the start, her wisdom, calm presence, and intuition guided me through every moment. She was up all night with me while I labored at home, knowing exactly what to do and when to do it. She knew my birth plan by heart but also recognized the exact moment we needed to go to the hospital when things didn’t go as expected...because when does it ever go exactly as planned? Our baby was saved because of Analena’s quick thinking and incredible care.

She is detailed, deeply compassionate, and cares just as much about your spouse and baby as she does about you. She goes above and beyond in every possible way. She’s strong as heck and the absolute best person you could have in your corner.
