Treeka was amazing! Being a young first-time mom, I was very nervous about everything, and needing to be induced made us even more scared since it wasn’t part of our birth plan. She was there through the whole delivery, and it truly calmed our nerves having someone there to advocate for us.

Treeka went above and beyond. From wiping my forehead to always making sure I was as comfortable as possible. She checked in constantly to see if I needed anything and offered the most reassuring words when I needed them most. Her calm, caring presence made such a difference in our birth experience, and I can’t thank her enough for being there every step of the way. We can't wait for her to be our doula for our future children!

Working with Treeka was by far the best experience I had while pregnant and during the labouring process. For my third child, I wanted to have peace of mind knowing that I had an advocate in my corner.  Treeka was very understanding and patient. She listened and kept space for when I needed her the most. She explained each scenario in layman terms so I was able to understand what was happening. While the nurses spoke rudely at the time of my admissions (even so far as to say I wasn't in active labour, that they would check me and send me home right away - I had my baby not even an hour later), Treeka was there and was professional when communicating as I was not able to.  It was great having someone in my corner who truly spent the time to do what was best for me, my body and baby! I highly recommend Treeka!

Treeka was with us for the pregnancy and birth of both our children, and I just can't recommend her enough. Having a doula by our side made all the difference in taking an overwhelming experience and making it manageable. She brought calm, confidence, and compassion to every moment, helping us feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout the entire journey. As a Dad it was initially challenging to imagine inviting someone else into that intimate circumstance, especially when you are looked at to be the source of calm and comfort, but the peace-of-mind confidence Treeka brought to our initial interactions made it immediately clear that we were better with her on our team. Treeka's guidance through the entire experience took significant stress out of the unknowns, and made it enjoyable. She was attentive, engaged, patient, and eminently capable. Having her assistance during the process of giving birth itself was remarkable, and her ability to work with the birthing staff at the hospital was like having an interpreter in a foreign country! Incredibly useful, stress-relieving, and there when you needed her. She knew when to be there, and when to let the moment be front and centre, and any concerns I had about having someone else in the room for that experience were dispelled completely. She understood what was important to us, and made sure that those wishes were maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Treeka to anyone looking for a doula. She was amazing for us, and I'm sure she'd be amazing for you.

“What can I say that will express the depth of my gratitude to you?

You came on late in the game , pitch hit as I was birthing without a partner, were an exquisite coach, knowing exactly when and how to engage with me and literally made the entire difference in the birth of Azlan.  The fact that he arrived on your son’s birth day is testimony to the special nature and presence of you at my birth.  It was a little scary doing it on my own, and as soon as we met, I was immediately more confident and felt totally supported. 

Your care, intuition and ability to completely present allowed you tap into what I needed and deliver it.  Your generosity of spirit was an enveloping blanket and the gentleness of your being provided great succor.

You had an innate understanding of “space” ...when to give me some and when I needed you to close the gap. 

Thank you for being an integral part of this beauteous birthing circle, holding space and my hand at my DREAM birth.
