As a mother, there is nothing more important than knowing your daughter feels safe, confident, and supported throughout pregnancy and childbirth. Having Amanda as my daughter’s doula was truly a gift to our entire family.

Amanda's knowledge and calm confidence made all the difference. From the very beginning, she helped my daughter feel prepared and informed — especially as a first-time mom. She provided steady encouragement, practical guidance, and reassurance that eased so many normal fears that come with the unknown.

During labor, Amanda was a constant, grounding presence. She gently advocated when needed, clearly explained options, and supported my daughter’s desire for a natural birth experience.  Amanda was a guiding force while working beautifully within the hospital environment. Watching my daughter feel empowered, rather than overwhelmed, was priceless.

The advantage of having a doula like Amanda cannot be overstated. Medical staff provide excellent clinical care, but a doula provides continuous emotional and physical support — someone entirely focused on the mother’s comfort, confidence, and birth plan. That level of personal care is invaluable.

I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda to any expectant mother, especially first-time moms hoping for a natural birth in a hospital setting. She truly has a gift for this work.

I can’t recommend Amanda enough. After the birth of my second baby, she came to support me as a postpartum doula, and it made such a difference in my recovery and overall wellbeing. She brought such a calm, caring presence into my home and made me feel truly seen and supported during a time that can feel so overwhelming.

She even surprised me with beautiful flowers, which was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to me. It’s clear how passionate she is about caring for mothers, not just physically but emotionally too.

Any family would be lucky to have her support during the postpartum period. She is kind, professional, and genuinely cares about the moms and families she works with. I’m so grateful for her.

My husband and I had the privilege of having Amanda as our Doula for the birth of our second son. My first birth experience had not gone as planned – I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, and ended up having an emergency C-section. When I got pregnant with my second child, I wanted to go for a VBAC and that is when I found Amanda. 

From the start, Amanda was an invaluable resource and calming presence. During our two prenatal visits I was able to bounce ideas off of her and get advice on how to prepare for my VBAC. During labor, her presence made the experience so much less stressful despite things not going to plan (as they often never do with birth)! Even though I did not get the VBAC I planned, I can say that we tried everything we could as a team to make it successful, which is all I wanted out of my second birth experience. She stayed with us through the entire process, including my emergency c-section which took much longer than expected. She stayed by my side when my husband went with our son to the special care unit and even came with me to the recovery room. During labor, one of my L&D nurses told me Amanda was one of the best doulas she has ever worked with. 

Having gone through birth with Amanda’s support, my husband and I both agree – we cannot imagine going through this process without her and are forever grateful we had her as part of our birth team.

As a husband, there’s only so much we can do during the birthing process—and during the birth of our first child, without a doula, I felt completely lost. I wanted to help my wife through the pain, but beyond offering support, I didn’t know how.

When we were expecting our second child, we decided to hire Amanda as our doula—and it was one of the best decisions we made. Amanda went above and beyond, not only for my wife and our newborn son but also for me. She made sure I was informed, involved, and supported throughout the entire process. Honestly, compared to our first birth experience, this felt like a vacation.

While the focus rightfully stays on the mother, Amanda never overlooked my needs. Her presence, care, and professionalism transformed the entire experience. I only wish we had her with us the first time. I cannot say enough great things about Amanda and would highly recommend her to anyone preparing for childbirth

My husband and I used Amanda as our doula for the birth of our baby girl in August of 2024. As soon as I went into the L&D triage I outreached to Amanda and that’s when she began our encounter.As a nervous first-time mom, I had asked Amanda to help promote a calm experience during the birth and once she arrived at the hospital, she began transforming my tiny labor room into a peaceful, zen-like sanctuary. Before I knew it, she had a diffuser with lavender oil and small twinkle lights strung on the wall in front of me. She played soft spa music and started a hand and foot massage with lotion during my contractions to help me relax. All the providers that came into my room commented on how lovely her set up was, saying “this was the most calming and best smelling room on the entire unit”. I was so proud to have someone who cared so much about my experience as a pregnant woman, she took all my fears and turned them into a positive experience.Although I had an epidural early on and was not able to be ambulatory throughout the labor process, Amanda was still able to use her techniques to calm my mind and body from the discomfort. I remember her suggesting the use of a peanut ball and recommended frequent repositioning my body in bed after my water broke and I started to have more pain. Amanda knew from our initial encounter, about a month before, the birth that I had wanted a vaginal delivery. She advocated with me and for me through the entire process, and although I ended up with a c-section she remained vigilant and present throughout the entire birth experience. She even stayed after the baby was born and gave me and my husband a rest break, which we both needed after being awake for more than 24 hours. iwould highly recommend Amanda as a doula because of the positive impact she made during the entire birthing process.

I am beyond grateful for the incredible support and care my doula Amanda provided during the birth of my baby. From the very beginning, she brought a calming presence, deep knowledge, and genuine compassion to every moment. Her encouragement, patience, and gentle guidance helped me feel empowered, safe, and truly supported throughout the entire experience.

She was by my side through every contraction, offering comfort measures, emotional reassurance, and unwavering advocacy. Her intuitive understanding of what I needed—sometimes even before I could say it—made a world of difference. Our Darling Doula, Amanda, was an absolute lifesaver for my wife and I. Between the preeclampsia, a long time in labor and a cesarean, having Amanda by our side was a huge sigh of relief.  Not only was she a doula for my wife, but as well for me.  Her knowledge and experience in giving us insight into what things would end up being like, kept me more calm than I thought I would be. Whether I needed to take a 30 minute breather or just try and sleep, Amanda gave me the peace of mind that she would make my wife as comfortable as possible. She decorated our room to lift our spirits, gave my wife multiple massages, and always made sure to keep my wife's birth plan in mind when decisions had to be made with doctors. I think I was most impressed with how well she worked with hospital personnel and they really seemed to appreciate her and showed her the respect that she deserved. I could never consider going through labor and delivery without someone like Amanda by our side

I can't express enough how grateful I am for Amanda's support during my birthing experience. From the moment she entered the room, her calming presence transformed the atmosphere. She brought lights to create a peaceful environment and was incredibly attentive throughout my labor, consistently encouraging me to breathe and rest, especially when things weren't progressing as planned.

When I faced the unexpected challenge of needing to be induced due to preeclampsia, Amanda was right there, ready to do whatever it took to ensure I felt safe and heard. She respected not only my wishes but also built a respectful rapport with the staff, which allowed me to focus on my needs and communicate effectively about our birth plan.

After 48 hours of labor, when a C-section became necessary, Amanda's presence in the operating room was invaluable. Her soothing words provided comfort not just for me, but also for my husband during such a daunting time.

The moment my son was born, I will always remember hearing him cry and then Amanda joyfully saying, 'Happy birthday, Logan!' It was such a beautiful, unforgettable moment that encapsulated the support and love she brought to my experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda to anyone seeking a compassionate and dedicated doula.
