Luciana was by my side the day my daughter was born, and it changed the trajectory of the entire experience. Her energy is so calm and graceful that the newborn stage felt like a dreamworld on the nights she was there. She also taught me everything about breastfeeding, and I had a wonderful experience because of her guidance. Even though my daughter was asleep 95% of the time we spent together, her face lights up when she sees Luciana six months later - that says it all! To anyone considering hiring Luciana as a doula, the only thing you should know is that you will want her to stay forever.

I have known Luciana for 4 years. We worked together, shared special moments with the children we cared for, and became friends. She has become one of the most important people in my life by being present at the birth of my daughter. When I got pregnant, she was one of the first people I told and counted on.

Throughout my pregnancy, Luciana helped me make decisions, provided knowledge, and kept me informed and questioning about my rights and choices, giving me a strong sense of security and empowerment.

When I went into labor, I felt completely secure knowing she would be by my side. She brought the best vibe, words, energy, touch, and care. With her knowledge and respect, she advocated for me when I couldn’t. She calmed my husband and brought him closer to the birthing experience with empathy and care.

As an immigrant, without a support network and family nearby, she became my family, my people, and my shelter.
