We had an incredible experience with Ali during the birth of our first child.  

From day one, she was a faithful and reliable guide through the overwhelming process of deciding how to have the child. 

Each decision can be scary and complicated, but Ali is knowledgeable, confident, and collaborative while being flexible to help us find our process that works for us.  All the while, everything about Ali is warm and loving and kind.  

All of the work we did together to prepare  — guided exercises and conversations — gave us the necessary grounding and preparation so that as we drove to the hospital, we felt prepared for what we about to go through — physically and spiritually ready for that experience.  

And during the birth at the hospital, Ali was right there with us —helping us ask the right questions, setting a pace, and creating an environment of care and calm. She was wholly a part of our team while also giving us our own intimate space too as a couple. 

After the birth she continues to be available and check in with us — connecting us with more help along the way as we need — lactation consultants, massage therapists, etc. And her postpartum visit reconfirmed how generous and caring she is. 

We loved working with Ali!!

Our only regret is that we didn’t start working with her earlier in the process!

Ali pairs knowledge and practicality with a little bit of magic. She shares information through storytelling and analogy that lands so clearly. Her support during birth was imperative — especially with positioning and managing contractions. We would have had a much different experience without her support. A major game changing aspect of having her with us was helping my partner support me. She made me (and my partner) feel more safe and confident in our journey. Ali is incredible. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their doula.
