Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
The hospital setting was the first place I got to experience witnessing and supporting birth and I have had a great deal of very positive experiences in the hospital. I considered my role to be one that is of the dancer, to help all parties dance to the beat of the birthing persons rhythm respecting and honoring the needs, intentions and intuition of the mama!

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
I have worked in some capacity at a number of local birth centers in the Portland Metro Area since 2015 and love the birth center setting.

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
I have attended home births in a myriad of roles: as a doula, apprentice midwife, birth assistant, and primary midwife since 2015 and love supporting folks in out of hospital birth!

Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

I serve on a couple of boards for the Oregon Health Authority, have been a board member of the Oregon Doula Association in the past and am one of the founders of a local reproductive justice collective, and served on the Black Futures Initiative for Perinatal Health that helped shape and inform the local Momnibus that was just recently passed.

Fee Details

My range in fee structure represents a higher rate for overnights and for traveling outside of my local area.
