Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 1 to 3 births and 1 to 2 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: I would prefer a non-smoking situation or one where smoking is done outside if possible, but not a deal breaker. Many of my clients have multiple pets and it's not an issue.

Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I am familiar with area hospitals and staff and have security passes for both in Madison. I can easily obtain credentials when and where I need to before the birth.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
I am fine to attend a birth at a birth center. I am quite familiar with Northpointe Birth Center in Beloit, WI

Attends home births? Some Home Births
This is a case by case situation/determination I will make following an initial interview. Clients must have a certified midwife for birth.

Fee Details

Birth doula-the sooner you book, the better! We will meet every 2-3 thru pregnancy and as needed of course. My fee may be higher than some in area, but I am experienced (40 years as a mom and 30 years working with moms and young families) and fully certified. As a bonus to those paying the full $2500 birth fee, I will add 8 hours postpartum services to birth bundle when booked and deposit is secured as a thank you bonus. (Value Is $400) I have a walk in solo practice office in Verona, WI located at 951 Kimball Lane, Suite 124.
