We cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda. From the very first night, she brought such a calm, reassuring presence into our home during a time that felt both beautiful and overwhelming. Having a newborn is no small adjustment, and Amanda made sure that our family’s needs were truly met — not just the baby’s, but ours as a mother too.

She took the time to understand our routines, preferences, and concerns, and she supported us in a way that felt personal and thoughtful rather than one-size-fits-all. Whether it was gently soothing the baby back to sleep, offering helpful tips when we had questions, or simply making sure we were able to get real, uninterrupted rest, Amanda handled everything with confidence and care.

Because of Amanda, our nights felt manageable, and our days felt brighter. I woke up feeling more rested, more confident, and more present for my baby. She truly made a difference in our postpartum experience, and we are so grateful to have had her support during such a special time in our lives as well as managing 4 months sleep regression.

I truly cannot imagine surviving the early postpartum days without her. From the very beginning, she was incredibly informative while also being so genuine and grounding. She has a calm presence that immediately put me at ease during such an overwhelming and emotional time. She kept me calm during some of the scariest moments — including tongue tie releases and episodes of heavy postpartum bleeding — explaining exactly what was happening, what was normal, and when to breathe. In moments where I could have easily panicked, she helped me feel steady and supported. She didn’t just support me — she taught me how to be a first-time mom with confidence and compassion. Every question I had was met with patience, reassurance, and real knowledge. She helped me trust my instincts and believe in myself as a mother. Having her by my side made all the difference, and I will forever be grateful for the care, guidance, and steady support she gave me during one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life.

We hope her very busy schedule matches up when we have our second child. If you want a doula who feels like your smart, and supportive older sister go with Amanda!

Amanda is an expert with newborns. I was a little cautious about having a post-partum doula help take care of my baby at night but Amanda put my mind at ease as it immediately became apparent that she knew how to meet a baby's needs with love and with confidence. 
Even though I'm a third time mom, I learned a lot from Amanda about how to care for a baby in their first weeks. She also helped the baby develop healthy sleep habits so that by the end of 6 weeks she was sleeping for 5-8 hours at night. 
I'd recommend Amanda to anyone looking for post-partum support!

I didn't think I needed or wanted help, but my friend insisted on sending Amanda to me and she was lovely!  My children who are usually slow to warm up loved her immediately, and she was helpful while not pushing me out of my comfort zone.  I will definitely call her again for subsequent babies!

Amanda is amazing! She supported my family through a tricky time when I needed dental work done shortly after giving birth. She monitored my older children keeping them entertained and quiet (quite a feat!!), enabling me to rest and recover with the newborn. Even my shy oldest child who is quite finicky about being watched by others was a huge fan of time with Amanda. She is truly a godsend for a postpartum mom!
