I met with the three doulas twice before labor, and they were super sweet and helpful as I got ready to have my baby. Then when I was in early labor, Jessica came over and supported me through contractions and directed my husband so that he could support me as well. After many hours, I ended up requesting a transfer to the hospital for an epidural, and Jordan met us at the hospital for a few hours until I was situated. After my epidural I fell asleep (I'd been in labor close to 24 hours by that point) and my baby started to experience late decels. Jessica discussed the options with my Dr as I slept, and when they woke me up due to an increase in decels, they gave me the choice between an urgent C-section or vacuum delivery, but it did have to be immediate. I had a vacuum delivery, and my little one is a happy, healthy little munchkin and I have extremely positive feelings about my labor and birth.

I can’t say enough good about this doula team! I decided late in pregnancy that I wanted a doula, and they immediately made space for me. Their booklet of up-to-date information saved me from having to search the internet, and they helped me realize my choices and preferences. 

I don’t think I would have had a successful VBAC without them. The whole team collaborated throughout my labor so my primary doula, Jordan, had multiple perspectives and ideas in real time. Jordan communicated with the medical staff respectfully and created space for me to ask questions and feel supported. She made the room feel home-like with lights, candles, and meaningful items from home. She guided me through countless positions for 22 hours, stayed by my side the entire time, and continually encouraged the team to give my VBAC the time it needed.

Her pain-management tools were invaluable. She honored my faith and prayed with me when I asked, which made me feel grounded and respected.

I felt cared for by three minds and one incredible team. I couldn’t recommend them more.

The team at Arise was so comforting to work with along my first pregnancy. They brought calmness, excitement, and a confidence that I was hoping to carry into my home birth. Despite quite a change in plans with a preterm emergency C-section, Autumn was right in the OR with me, not just documenting the birth of our son, but being an advocate, a hand to hold, and reassurance that this birth was still just as beautiful of an experience as what we had intended. The team was eager to provide postpartum support, and being able to connect a couple weeks after the birth was a really nice time to reflect on my story, and put a ribbon on a beautiful chapter! I would highly recommend Arise to any expectant mother and family.

From the start of our second pregnancy journey, Jessica's influence was transformative. As a husband, I watched my wife's previous uncertainties from our first pregnancy dissolve. That earlier experience had been marked by a lack of guidance, leading to choices we hadn't initially envisioned, like an induced and medicated birth.

Jessica's approach was distinctly different. Her dedication to her craft, evident through her continuous research and up-to-date knowledge, offered us a wealth of insights and techniques. What stood out was her innate ability to reassure and empower my wife, helping her rediscover the inherent strength every woman possesses during this profound journey.

With Jessica by our side, the contrast was palpable. Our second pregnancy was a celebration of natural processes and informed decisions. The culmination in a timely, unmedicated birth was testament to Jessica's invaluable support and expertise. As a grateful husband, I can't emphasize enough the positive impact she's had on our family's experience.

We were originally on the fence about hiring a doula, but ultimately decided to do it after seeing the positive stats associated with births with a doula and when my husband decided that he could use the support during labor and delivery. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders knowing we had a the guidance and support of a doula so we could just focus on getting ready to become parents. We instantly clicked with Jessica and having her as part of our team was the best decision we made. We both felt so well equipped with information and endless support and guidance leading up to our birth, during birth, and after because of Jessica. I felt like I was able to prepare my mind and body so well, which ultimately lead to a very empowering birth experience. Jessica was not only our advocate, but also brought such fun, positive energy to every step. Because of her, my perception of labor and delivery changed from "something to get through" to a truly empowering life event that I look back on fondly.

If you're looking for an experienced, considerate, intelligent, and kind doula, look no further. Autumn was everything we wanted in a doula and more. It was so important to us to have a doula with a lot of birth experience, and as a prior Labor & Delivery nurse, Autumn has seen it all. She was great at working with the nurses and doctors at our hospital as well, which is so important during birth.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, and helped me and my husband build our birth plan. She also did a great job helping me and husband practice for the birth positions we wanted, and we truly enjoyed each pre-birth session with Autumn.

She was absolutely fantastic during my entire birth, being a strong, stable, and encouraging presence to both me and my husband. I had a very long labor, and Autumn was there through it all.

Her postpartum care and support was absolutely essential after we went home. I leaned on Autumn for all those awkward questions when we were so sleep deprived.

She's also an excellent photographer: my maternity shoot and birth photos from Autumn are absolutely precious, and I'm so glad we got them.

Finally, her strong faith was very important for me and my husband. It was so special to share that with her as well. We will forever be grateful to Autumn for being a crucial part of our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum season.

We love Jordan! Jordan has the best energy - calm, peaceful, confident, supportive - and is incredibly knowledgeable! She let us read some of her favorite birth books and we LOVED her resources she provides that included birth and postpartum information and a birth plan to bring to the hospital. She also gave us some affirmations that I read every night! The meetings before the birth helped us to feel confident and informed!
Jordan was so responsive! We would send texts in the middle of the night and she would respond within minutes! When active labor began she met us at our house and helped us know when to go to the hospital! She helped provide such a beautiful, peaceful environment in the hospital room and was an incredible advocate throughout the process. She knew my birth plan and really helped that happen. There were several things that came up at the hospital that deviated from my birth plan and she made sure that I knew that I had a choice, the risks and benefits, and other options before making any decisions. I absolutely needed that voice of reason when I was in the middle of labor! She had all the labor support tools so I didn't have to even worry about that! She helped with counter pressure, suggesting positions and different coping strategies, and really helped me and my husband (and my mom!) feel grounded and comforted! The cherry on top were the photos! Jordan captured the experience so beautifully with incredible pictures! They really are such a treasure for us! The meeting after the birth was so fun to talk through the birth and really digest the whole experience! I had such a wonderful birth experience and so much of it was from Jordan's help making sure I was prepared mentally and physically before birth, being an incredible support and advocate during birth, and still a friend after birth! Jordan is incredible and her support was invaluable. I can't recommend her more!

I contacted Jordan when I was entering the last month of pregnancy. She responded fast and we set up a virtual meet and greet. From the moment we started the meeting, I felt an ease and confidence with Jordan. She was able to take us on as clients and we set up our in person class. Jordan presented thoughtful, organized, and thorough material to help us prepare for labor and birth. 

When labor started she was a steady source of motivation and helped guide my husband on how to best support me. Her bag of tricks (i.e. TENS unit, honey sticks, combs, nausea stick, etc) was so helpful. Not only did Jordan help physically support me during delivery, she also found moments to take photos, capturing beautiful memories for us. 

This was our first baby and we experienced a few stressful events during delivery. Jordan was an incredible support and ensured I had everything I needed.

Should we decide to have additional children, Jordan will be one of the first we call so we can have her support again.

We had the pleasure and gift of working with Autumn as our doula for the birth of our second child.  I instantly felt an ease of being around her and talking with her .  She provided us education to prepare us for labor ,  birth , and postpartum.  Even though this wasn’t our first time, my husband and I learned so much and it helped us to feel better prepared.  She created the space for me to process and talk through my first birth and postpartum experience. Her encouragement to listen to my instincts was always present. Both my husband and I felt she brought confidence and calm to each interaction and specifically in the hospital while laboring and birthing our son. Her knowledge and wisdom acquired as a labor and delivery nurse and her understanding of the hospital system really helped. She also created a peaceful and calm ambience through string lighting and music. I believe that her involvement and presence  empowered me to listen to my instincts when it came to labor positions and advocating when it was time to push. We will forever be grateful for her support, care, and wisdom , which led to what I feel was a redemptive second birth experience. She also was able to capture some very special photographs of our labor, birth, and our son. Little details that we’ll always now remember. I highly recommend Autumn to anyone seeking a birth doula.

Working with Jessica as our doula was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy journey. From the very beginning, she was amazing—supportive, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. Her initial consultation and two pre-birth meetings were packed with helpful information that made us feel so empowered and prepared going into labor.

During the birth, Jessica was truly in tune with what I needed. She had this calm presence that grounded the whole room, and when we were in the thick of labor and forgot parts of our birth plan, she gently and confidently advocated for us. She also captured the most beautiful photos during the birth—images we’ll treasure forever. What amazed us even more is that her photography never took away from her doula support; she was fully present the entire time—I didn’t even realize she was taking pictures!

A few days after our birth, she came over to our home to check in on us, making sure we were all doing well physically, mentally, and emotionally. She brought a huge, delicious jar of homemade bone broth with her, and it felt like the most thoughtful gift.

We are beyond thankful for everything Jessica did for us. Her genuine care, compassion, and expertise made all the difference in our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

I hired Jordan as our doula for my 3rd pregnancy. I had never had a doula before and knew from previous experiences of giving birth in the hopsital that I wanted a support person to advocate for what I wanted and needed during labor and delivery. From the pregnancy meetings, she was attentive to our needs and desires. She listened to me and gave information on topics I was interested in and advice when asked for. Towards the end of my pregnacy Jordan greatly helped me with the fears I was having with going over due and deciding whether or not to induce labor.

My third labor, at 41 weeks 5 days, ended up being a difficult and long labor, but having Jordan by my side made all the difference. Jordan's kindness, confidence, calm demeanor, and knowledge helped me deliver my son in the way that I wanted. In the hospital she helped with labor postitions and pain management with contractions to help my labor progress. Her postivity and joy was such a blessing to me and my husband. Even though it was an intense experience she laughed with us and cared for us so well. We loved having her with us. She helped us process our emotions after the birth and regularly checked in with me postpartum. I don't think you could find a better doula than Jordan.

I cannot recommend Autumn enough! Choosing her as our doula was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our birth experience. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in good hands. This birth was so much easier than my first, and I attribute that to the incredible support and guidance Autumn provided.

Autumn is not only compassionate and caring, but she is also incredibly knowledgeable. She made me feel empowered and informed at every step of the process. She supported me emotionally, physically, and mentally, ensuring that I was always comfortable and confident in my decisions. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported, cared for, and prepared.

What made Autumn the obvious choice for us was her extensive background and expertise. With her certifications and previous experience as a labor and delivery nurse, she has been present at thousands of births, which gave us complete confidence in her abilities. Her calm, experienced presence made all the difference during the birth, and we felt so reassured having her by our side.

Autumn not only helped me through the physical aspects of birth but also took the time to teach me about my body, what to expect, and how to handle every stage with grace. She is incredibly knowledgeable and taught me so much, making me feel more confident in myself and my abilities.

I feel incredibly grateful to have had Autumn as part of our birth team, and I honestly can’t recommend her enough to anyone seeking a doula. If you want a supportive, experienced, and knowledgeable professional by your side, Autumn is the one!

I am so grateful for the incredible support Jordan provided during L&D and postpartum! She is knowledgeable, calm, compassionate, and incredibly sweet.

Even though my husband and I attended birth preparation classes, we learned so much more about our options through her prenatal visit. Jordan guided us in creating our birth plan and thoroughly explained the labor and delivery processes, helping us understand the decisions we needed to make. After each visit, our anxiety levels decreased significantly.

I had gestational diabetes and hoped to start labor spontaneously before my scheduled induction date. Jordan introduced me to natural remedies and activities to encourage labor. I tried everything she suggested, and to our delight, my water broke naturally, allowing labor to begin before the due date!

During labor and delivery, Jordan ensured I was comfortable, well-hydrated, and supported throughout the process. In addition to her invaluable support during delivery, she captured beautiful photos of the moment our baby was born, which we cherish and love looking back on. Thanks to her, my first birth experience was a positive one!

Postpartum was incredibly challenging as new parents, but having Jordan visit a few times a week was a lifesaver. I could rest while she cared for our baby and prepared meals for us. She taught us essential skills like bathing, swaddling, trimming nails, and properly securing the baby in a car seat. Breastfeeding was tough, but her knowledge and encouragement motivated me to continue. She was always patient, kind, and thoughtful, especially when I struggled emotionally with the baby blues.

Additionally, my husband’s employer had Carrot Fertility benefits. We were able to have Jordan’s services for L&D and Post-Partum (up to 6 weeks) reimbursed 100%. Even without this reimbursement benefit, we would absolutely seek her services again for any future babies!

My husband and I knew we wanted a doula due to not having family close by and we knew we would need the support but it was hard finding one that we connected with until Autumn appeared. She has been an answered prayer. She has not offered medical professionalism and insight throughout the entirety of our pregnancy and now postpartum, but she has also now become a part of our family. She has been absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a doula, look no longer! We are so grateful for her and all she has done for our family.

Jessica is amazing and immediately felt like a dear friend to me and my family. During our first meeting I was put at ease with her knowledge, experience and her presence of mind. She radiated confidence in her profession and kindness with her personality. Not only was Jessica kind but she was a joy to be around. During labor was was able to keep things light and fun for me when my mind wanted to wander off and get lost in pain. We danced and laughed contractions away, but she also helped me do the hard work of getting baby into a good position and affirming me through the whole process. Jessica was also such a blessing to have around for my husband. She helped coach him to be the great birthing partner I needed. This was my second birth, and even though I'd gone through a natural unmedicated birth with my first I recognized how valuable it had been to have a doula the first time. This time it felt even more valuable to have someone by my side to help coach me through feelings that came up from my first labor. When contractions were intense she was by my side to remind me of truth and that I could do it and stick to my birth plan. She helped me feel more in control when things went awry and I cannot stress enough just how lucky I feel to have had her be my doula. She's the best! I cannot recommend her highly enough. 11/10.

I cannot express enough how wonderful Jessica is, both as a doula and person! From our first interaction, it was clear that she was deeply knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about supporting families during such an important time. I knew I needed a doula for the big day, but I underestimated all the support a great doula provides throughout your pregnancy and even postpartum. Any concerns I had after my check ups I went straight to Jessica for more information and she always provided what I needed to make an informed decision without any pressure. My goal was to have an unmedicated birth and Jessica gave me all the tools needed to make this happen. I truly believe there is not a chance I would have been able to make my dream birth happen without her. She was such a reassuring and calming presence during labor, while also guiding us through different labor positions to keep baby girl in the right position. She also helped us time our trip to the hospital perfectly—we ended up arriving to the hospital at 10cm dilated and ready to push. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica. We are so grateful for her guidance in helping bring our baby into the world. The entire experience was so positive and empowering and was a blessing to start our first journey into parenthood with that confidence. Thank you Jessica!
