Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I’m Liv, a trained birth doula with four years of experience supporting families through hospital births. During my training, I completed over 2,000 hours of medical and clinical work—observing and assisting in labor and delivery alongside hospital staff to deeply understand the clinical environment. I provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support from early labor through delivery and into that first postpartum hour, offering techniques like massage, positioning guidance, breathing support, and advocacy so your voice is heard. Continuous doula care in hospitals has been shown to reduce cesarean rates, shorten labor, decrease reliance on pain medication, and improve birth satisfaction. I work closely with your birth partner—coaching and empowering them—and collaborate respectfully with hospital staff. From prenatal visits and being on call near your due date to postpartum follow-up, my approach is calm, flexible, and centered on your safety, autonomy, and unique goals—whether you're planning a VBAC, considering pain relief, or preparing for a cesarean-friendly experience. I’d love to connect and see if we’re a great match!

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Ive accumulated many hours working directly alongside midwives, providing continuous support during labor and assisting with postpartum care. I offer hands-on comfort techniques, emotional support, and evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions. My role complements the midwifery team by focusing on your comfort and emotional well-being, ensuring you feel heard and supported throughout your birth experience. I work closely with your birth team and partner, fostering a collaborative environment that respects your birth plan and preferences. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, utilizing water labor, or considering other options, I'm here to support you in achieving your desired birth experience.

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
have a deep love and admiration for homebirths and the incredible women in our community who bravely and intentionally choose to welcome their babies in the comfort and safety of their own homes. There’s something profoundly empowering about the trust, strength, and connection that happens when birth unfolds naturally in a space filled with love and familiarity. While I also support and value birth center care, my heart especially shines for these families and the beautiful, holistic journeys they embark on. It’s an honor to walk alongside them, advocating for their choices and providing care that respects their unique path to motherhood.

Olivia, I don’t even know where to begin because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough, deep enough, or powerful enough to hold what I want to say. You have been our light, our anchor, and our safe place through this entire journey, and even now, looking back on everything, I’m still in awe of what you gave us. From the very beginning, you didn’t just walk beside us you held us. You met every fear with calm, every question with patience, and every vulnerable moment with grace. You reminded me that I was strong, capable, and never alone. I could do hard things. Even when the path didn’t go how we imagined when our story ended in an unexpected C-section you somehow still made it feel like my birth story. You made sure I felt heard, empowered, and at peace. But this letter isn’t just from me. It’s from my husband too. Because you didn’t just support me you supported us. You saw us as a team. You gave him the space to show up for me fully, without fear or hesitation, because you were always one step ahead, thinking of what we might need before we even knew we needed it. You helped him carry the weight of it all. And that’s a gift I’ll never be able to repay. You brought a calm into our world that we didn’t even know we needed. You made the medical feel personal. You made the unknown feel safe. And you turned what could’ve been a scary experience into one filled with intention, love, and trust. Thank you for the way you held my hand and my heart through the entire process. Thank you for reminding me when everything felt out of my control that I was still the one bringing our baby into the world. Because of you, I look back on this journey with peace. Because of you, I found strength I didn’t know I had. You are more than a doula. You are a healer, a guide, and a true part of our family now. We love you so much with all our hearts, Madi, Dustin, and Anderson
