We can’t say enough wonderful things about Mara. She helped us with night care for our premature baby girl, and from the very first night, we knew we were in great hands. Mara provided exceptional care not only for our daughter but also for Mom - helping with everything from setting up and cleaning breast pumps to establishing a gentle nighttime sleep routine.
Her calm, caring, and passionate approach made such a difference during a stressful and uncertain time. We were initially skeptical about finding the right doula, especially with our baby being just 36 weeks old when we started nighttime care, but Mara immediately put us at ease. She was always punctual, professional, and radiated positivity.
Thanks to her support, our nights felt more manageable and our confidence as new parents grew tremendously. We highly, highly recommend Mara to any family looking for a compassionate and dedicated doula.

After an unexpected emergency c-section, we were scrambling to find support, and Mara moved mountains to make herself and her team available our very first night home from the hospital. From the moment she walked in, Mara was warm, kind, and such a calming presence.
She did so much more than care for our baby - she cared for me, too. From refilling my water and bringing me snacks while I breastfed, to answering all of our new-parent questions, she went above and beyond in every way. Each evening we’d spend time catching up, and she felt like an old friend from the very first night.
Mara gave us the invaluable gift of sleep while I healed, but also filled our home with reassurance, knowledge, and kindness. Her care is truly holistic - she adapts to whatever the household needs are, whether that’s snuggling a newborn, helping with chores, or offering gentle guidance. Weeks later, she still texts us to check on our growing boy, which shows how deeply she cares and connects with each baby.
Thanks to Mara, we will always look back at those first two weeks as such a special, cozy, and peaceful time. We couldn’t recommend her more highly - her presence was a privilege and a gift that we will always be grateful for.

Mara was a Godsend! Our baby came early at 37 weeks and she was the biggest help from the day we arrived home from the hospital. It was so reassuring to have such a seasoned pro help with our baby. She was kind, calm, nurturing, and such a comfort to me as well. She's a gem and we're grateful she is a part of our story.

We had Mara join us when our son was 3 weeks old, and she completely transformed our newborn/postpartum experience. She is so kind and gentle, and you can tell that she absolutely loves children and was made for this line of work. She was amazing with our newborn (he really loved her), and helped both him and me to develop good sleep habits so we would be set up for success when we no longer had her services. She also helped me introduce a bottle to our baby and taught me techniques to burp him and releive his gas. She was also so sweet and kind with my older daughter.

Mara made really lovely and delicious postpartum meals for me following my fourth birth and emergency c section. The food was super nourishing and flavorful without being too intense or difficult to digest. I was so grateful for meals that felt like the hugs I needed during such a hard time. Everything was packed thoughtfully too.

We can't say enough good things about Mara. She is so kind, knowledgeable and has a great calming energy that was not only had impact with our newborn daughter, but was also so helpful and reassuring for us as brand new parents.
She taught us a lot in the first couple nights and everything was presented to us in such a reassuring way. I feel like someone else could've given the same advice and made us feel insecure or inadequate but her way only helped us feel more confident.
my wife was also struggling with nursing in the first week (like most new mothers) and Mara was so sweet she brought her an incredible care package and knowledge that helped so much.
from the onset we felt so safe and secure knowing our daughter was in her care.

Mara has been so helpful to me and my family. She was with our family until my newborn was 7 weeks old. She helped us with all things related to caring for our baby (setting up a routine, baby laundry, washing bottles, hygiene care, organizing our baby room, putting our baby to bed, and more). She provided us tips and also was a great resource when we had questions. She is extremely proactive, does things without being asked, and always comes with suggestions. For example, our baby had some major stomach issues (reflux and gas) and she was able to individualize her care by trying many things to provide my baby comfort. She even reached out to her community for collective advice. As a new parent, I really appreciated her help and guidance. You can tell she truly enjoys her work with babies and treats them as if they were her own. In addition, at the end of her time with us, she was so focused on setting us up for success (setting up sustainable routines and helping us find future care). I highly recommend Mara, especially for new moms and those that need extra support as they recover.
