Most doulas will settle your baby and hand them back to you. However...I'd rather teach you how I did it. After years of experience as a preschool teacher, I learned that observing the behaviors of tiny humans is a prevalent skill of mine. From their cues, feeding schedule, witching hour, and why cluster feeding isn't a bad thing. I notice and track it all! What I offer as a postpartum doula: daytime postpartum visits, postpartum overnights, and feeding support and lactation referral.
