As a licensed social worker and doula, I have actively engaged in volunteer work, advocacy, and leadership to support families and uplift my community. I provide volunteer birth and postpartum support to individuals who face financial or systemic barriers, offering trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I’ve collaborated with local family resource centers and maternal health organizations to facilitate parenting workshops, connect families to vital services, and advocate for housing and food access. My advocacy extends to raising awareness around Black maternal health and postpartum mental wellness through community outreach and policy engagement. I also serve as a mentor to aspiring doulas and social workers, especially single mothers navigating similar paths, offering guidance, encouragement, and real-world support. My work is grounded in a deep commitment to justice, healing, and holistic care.
