Working with Chessa was amazing. As a first-time mom, the newborn stage is incredibly challenging—the lack of sleep, constant feedings, and figuring everything out for the first time, etc. I knew early on that we would need help, especially once I started experiencing complications with breastfeeding, and a postpartum doula seemed like the best option.

Chessa was very responsive to my online inquiry, and we quickly established a start date with hours that were flexible and fit our needs. She always listened carefully and provided excellent support. Chessa did so much for our family, including bottle-feeding, laundry, diaper changes, baths, cooking and meal prep, grocery pickup, dishes, bottle and pump part washing, showing me how to use baby gear, assembling baby items like a high chair and stand up activity center, providing guidance on newborn care, explaining developmental stages, helping with home organization, and sharing helpful resources along the way. I never had any concerns leaving our daughter in her care while I went to doctor appointments or ran errands.

She even bonded with our cats and truly became an extension of our family—and a wonderful friend. She is very calm and patient, and was never rattled or overwhelmed. I would highly recommend Chessa to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable postpartum support.

Chessa was truly an amazing presence and support system to have at my first baby's birth! She is calm, confident, and so reassuring. I wanted to have a homebirth, but unfortunately had to be induced at 38 weeks. Chessa came to the hospital with me and helped me navigate through options that best fit my original birth plan as closely as possible. During active labor, her knowledge continued with helping me get through contractions and helping guide my significant other into helping me too.
I will forever cherish the support she provided after the birth and the placenta print she made for us in the hospital. It's so cool and can't wait to get it framed.

Chessa is truly one of a kind. I am a send time mom and had the most beautiful labor and delivery experience because of her. She is knowledgeable, patient, kind and confident. Chessa made sure we had a plan in place for every scenario that could arise during labor and that I felt 100% empowered and informed. I would choose her in every lifetime for every birth.

I absolutely adore Chessa! Highly recommend. She has such a beautiful soul. She is very kind, genuine, and resourceful. She helped alleviate emotional and physical stressors for me by listening to my postpartum mental health concerns with a wide open heart, holding my baby to give me short breaks when needed, and assisting me with tasks around the house (all without judgment). Wherever I needed it most, she was willing to lend a helping hand. As an experienced mother herself, guiding and supporting other mamas in their motherhood journey is definitely her calling, and she never failed to reassure me of this. I felt seen and heard. Chessa was extremely professional and supportive in every way. I did not know what to expect by having a doula for this part of my journey but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. So grateful for her and I have nothing but great things to say.
