Alexa is the absolute core component to why my 3rd delivery was so successful despite obstacles from the top down (from OB to the hospital) and was incredibly accommodating in helping me figure out the doula aspect for the first time nearly as last minute as could be.

I never felt any embarrassment or pressure to pick one way or another as I explained I was unsure of what the process was like, What to expect and what questions to ask and never made to feel insecure about my feelings, desires or fears going into this labor. She is incredibly easy to communicate and does so with grace, gusto and great humor. She listened intently with the goal to understand my situation, my desires and fears and how to orient the desired outcome with evidence based facts that in turn quelled my anxieties and would lead to better office visits with my OB! She would follow up with genuine interest in our problem solving and status reports. Her enthusiasm, without being campy or overbearing, in meeting my needs expeditiously in this case have been a godsend. 

While my labor came about not to my ideals, it was the absolute best one I've had yet thanks to her support and services. I am recovering really well and alot faster mentally than any birth prior. Postpartum has actually been enjoyable in part because of her support and it's really made such a world of difference. I would be spinning on top of a hill singing the Hills are Alive with the Sound of Music because I feel just THAT GOOD.

I would absolutely be back the moment I find out I'm pregnant again and I can not express enough just how happy I am with my experience working with Alexa and I think anyone considering her will be just as pleased as I am.

Alexa was my top choice when searching for a doula. This is my first baby, and as a FTM I was more nervous that I originally anticipated. Alexa reassured me that my body was made for this, calmed my racing mind through labor, and advocated for me with L&D. For postpartum care, she ensured I rested, taught my husband and I how to swaddle (harder than it looks), and cared for my baby. I can't wait to hire Alexa again for my other children!

Alexa was there with unconditional support day and night which helped me tremendously knowing I constantly had someone in my corner there for me. She never judged any of my choices and provided research and educated guidance for anything I was unsure about. To say the least, I am extremely thankful for her.
