Yasmine is an amazing doula, and I strongly would recommend her to anyone seeking post partum support as I did. Yasmine worked with us as a night doula for our second child. Yasmine was on time, always professional, and yet very warm and friendly at the same time. She jumped right into the environment in our home and unassumingly figured out how to blend right in, helping with dishes, tidying and keeping our household going when it was a mess post partum. Yasmine was creative as well in finding ways to soothe and take care of our daughter. I was working with some other night doulas at the time and Yasmine was the only one that on her own accord gave me advice on how to set good sleep habits for my daughter from the newborn stage. She tried multiple times to put her down "drowsy but awake" and also supported my baby in adjusting to a good night routine. Not only this but Yasmine was so sweet and knitted my baby a winter hat- something we'll never forget! I also had post partum anxiety and felt very comfortable with Yasmine. She was very understanding about my quirks with my daughter and never made me feel like those requests were a burden. She also entertained my toddler while I'd be nursing before we traded off for bed time, in order to help him stay calm so I could focus on nursing the baby in peace. I truly appreciated getting to know Yasmine and I can now say she feels like a friend, which I think is what a doula should be. Thank you Yasmine!
