Meghan was a wonderful support for the birth of our daughter. From the beginning, she took time to learn what I wanted and envisioned for my birth. She also made sure to give us resources and teach us coping tools for labor. During the actual labor, she was steadfast in her support of me and my family. She never left my side and helped me cope with labor the entire time by offering hands on help, making sure I was nourished and hydrated, advocating for me and even allowed for my partner to take a nap during our long labor! Afterward, she checked in and made sure to ask the right questions to ensure we were getting the right answers and resources for baby. She will always have a special place in our hearts!

My wife and I had our first baby and Meghan was an absolutely wonderful doula! She came very prepared, was well organized, and really informative during the prenatal appointments. She was very kind, caring, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process, and made sure to check in with us throughout.

During my wife's labor, Meghan was so supportive. She helped guide me in many different ways I could assist my wife and be as useful as possible through her labor. She would also break me out of my tunnel vision and make sure that I was hydrating, eating, and taking a break when it was needed. She also gave helpful tips, suggestions, and instructions during my wife's contractions, and was an absolute blessing to have.

If you're looking for an experienced doula, and someone to be a part of your support team, we highly recommend Meghan!

P.S. as a music nerd, I also appreciated that she had a degree in Music Education and was a Music teacher for many years before becoming a doula. You can tell her teaching experience helps make her a great doula.

Meghan is an INCREDIBLE doula. She was our rock in the storm during labor and delivery. The coaching, the reassurance and encouragement, the direct support for me and my husband... She was so vital to our experience. I will forever hear her telling me that was another contraction I'd never have to do again and one more closer to our baby. And her calm confidence in me was at some moments the only confidence I had. We leaned hard into her strength and guidance and our journey would have been so much harder without her. 

If you are looking for a doula who is compassionate and joyful and will go through it all with you, Meghan is who you are looking for!

Meghan was incrediby helpful. We decided on getting a doula at around 36 wks, our first impression of Meghan was that she was very passionate and comminted to becoming a Doula. She was very informative and was able to anwser the questions and concerns we had. She also shred a few GREAT resources to assist us as we got closer to our due date. Meghan slo ensured we would be taken care of if for some reason she was absent/unable to continue our care. When labor had started at home, Meghan was very diligent in maintaining communication and keeping track of how Mama was doing from the beginning of contratctions all the way to birth. 

During delivery Meghan was VERY helpful in ensuring Mom and Dad were BOTH taken care of. She advised me (Dad) on a few techniques to assist with delivery, she ensured Mom had enough water, food, and was contuinesly comfortable. She was contantly aware of how we were both doing, while also checking in with the midwife/nurse to ensure our needs were met. In the last 15 minutes of the delivery (the transition period) Meghan was instrumental in Mama being able to deliver naturaly (as she requested, and was most comfortable).

Meghan was genuinely exactly who/what we needed during the life changing process of birth. She helped set our family on a path to success, not only for the new baby boy, but also for our entire family unit. She will be someone we trust and rely on for the rest of our life.
