We had an excellent experience with our doula, Natalia. We are first-time parents and Natalia was there for us every step of the way to help ease our anxieties around the birth process. Since our first meeting, I felt very comfortable with Natalia; she is very professional, attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable and resourceful. We met with Natalia at certain weeks prior to my due date, fully explaining how the birth could go and it helped me understand what I would be going through. She was always available through my pregnancy when I had questions or felt unsure, she guided me towards making decisions about my desired birth plan. Natalia was by our side during (14 hours) labor. The support that was provided made me feel much more comfortable and confident through my journey into motherhood.

Natalia fue un gran apoyo no solo para mi esposa, sino también para mí como papá. Desde el principio nos acompañó con paciencia, resolviendo dudas y dándonos tranquilidad. En el parto estuvo siempre pendiente, guiándonos con calma y respeto, y eso nos hizo sentir muy seguros en un momento tan importante.

Para mí fue como tener a alguien con experiencia cuidándonos y apoyándonos en cada paso. Estoy muy agradecido y la recomiendo totalmente.

Nata es un ser humano con un corazón gigante que trabaja en pro de la comunidad y su entorno. Estoy feliz de poder ser parte del grupo de ayuda Nuestra Tribu y compartir experiencias y conocimiento con muchas mamita, lastimosamente ella no ha sido mi doula pero a su lado he aprendido mucho.

Desde los 7 meses de mi embarazo hasta mi posparto, contar con Natalia como mi doula fue una de las mejores decisiones que pude tomar. Su preparación, conocimiento y acompañamiento hicieron que mi proceso de parto y recuperación fueran mucho más tranquilos y seguros. Siempre estuvo disponible para resolver mis dudas, darme confianza, enseñarme técnicas útiles y apoyarme emocionalmente en cada etapa incluso conectándome con hermosas mujeres en grupos de apoyo que están viviendo la misma etapa que yo. Además, su cuidado en casa con el bebé y conmigo fue invaluable: me dio herramientas prácticas y me ayudó a disfrutar con más serenidad esos primeros días tan importantes. La recomiendo de corazón a cualquier mujer que quiera vivir su embarazo, parto y posparto con apoyo profesional y humano de la más alta calidad.

I will start by saying how devoted Nata is, she is the personification of devotion, vocation and a servant's heart. This was my second natural birth and I wish she would have been there for the first one. She was a great support preparing for labor and for the actual delivery. She remind you of how strong you are, despite how many times you feel like quitting. Not to mention how she has been as equally important during my breastfeeding journey, as I had to pump with my 1st one, she has been a great help overcoming the personal challenges I have encountered as I breastfeed my second born. I totally recommend her and would love her company and experience again if I have another baby. And the fact that she is bilingual was HUGE plus since my mother doesn't speak English and they were both, along with my husband crucial for the birth.
