Cannot express how amazing it was to have Mel on my support team for the birth of my 3rd baby!
She went above and beyond, even before birth with sacrificing her time to be apart of my hypnobirthing classes just so she knew how to better support me while I was in labor. Along with that she would reach out every so often to just share a prayer or scripture with me and the connection we made while I was pregnant made all the difference with how truly comfortable I felt with her while in labor. I had planned for my birth to be at home, but ended up having to be in hospital (something I absolutely DID NOT want) but with Mel there with me I felt a completely different peace and comfort knowing she would advocate on my behalf if need be.
She was so attentive and helped me so much through labor and even helped my husband feel included without overwhelming him (he’s very squeamish at birth). He has even said we probably won’t give birth again unless Mel is there !
She was a true blessing !!

My family and I don't even have the words to express how grateful we are for Mel. From beginning to end, we felt fully supported and seen. As a first time mom, I have all of the 'scaries' but Mel's encouraging and positive attitude, wealth of knowledge, ability to adapt, care, support, love our family exceed our expectations. I already mentioned that if/when baby #2 comes around, I would be though the moon to have her as our Doula again. ??
