I wear many titles with pride — Wife, Mother, Birth Worker, Perinatal Massage Therapist, Lactation Specialist, and Author. But at the heart of it all, I’m simply someone who is devoted to women’s health, healing, and empowerment. My passion for nurturing others comes from a long line of generous souls — my mother, my grandparents, whose kindness and selflessness shaped who I am today. My grandfather devoted his life to serving his community, and my grandmother has always been the quiet backbone of our family, giving from the heart without hesitation. Their example taught me that true generosity is showing up for others with love and presence, and that principle runs through every part of my work. My educational journey has included studies at Anne Arundel Community College and Western Governors University, and Midwifery studies through the National College of Midwifery while apprenticing under several licensed midwives. I have attended over 70+ births in a mix of hospitals and home births. My calling toward birth work was born of my own motherhood journey. My first childbirth experience showed me the power of a supportive birth team, but my second reminded me how deeply a lack of support can impact a woman. That moment became the turning point that led me to dedicate my life to women’s wellness — ensuring that every woman feels seen, supported, and cared for during one of life’s most transformative experiences. Every client I serve, every birth I attend, and every family I serve is an extension of that same legacy of care that was passed down from my family. I’m here to create spaces where women feel safe, nurtured, and empowered to trust their bodies — because generosity, to me, is the act of helping others remember their own strength.

I cannot express my gratitude to Medina enough for being an amazing Doula and support system during my pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey! At My Meaningful Health, Medina provided me with insightful information, practices and resources for me to reach my VBAC goal. She gave me a strong sense of confidence and security during my challenging pregnancy. I had a C-section 17 months ago and my OB team doubted that I would be able to successfully have a VBAC this pregnancy. I’m so thankful that I worked closely with Medina to prepare my mind, body and womb to deliver my baby this time around. She was very professional, empathetic and knowledgeable during the whole process. Her expertise and passion for birth work is evident! I was able to successfully have a VBAC after working with My Meaningful Health! I recommend Medina as a Doula for any expectant mom that wants a beautiful birth experience!!

I’m 39 weeks pregnant and very hard to please at this point, but my prenatal massage with Medina was absolutely out of this world. From the moment she arrived and set everything up in my home, she brought such a peaceful, grounded presence. It felt like I already knew her — her warmth, calm energy, and professionalism immediately put me at ease.

The massage itself was nothing short of magical. Her pressure and pacing were perfect — so intuitive, so effective. I had been dealing with some sciatic pain for a few days, but when I stood up after the session, the pain was completely gone. I also felt noticeably more balanced and aligned on both sides of my body, like she had helped me reset.

Medina is truly a miracle worker, not just with her hands, but with her spirit. I felt so deeply nourished, both physically and emotionally. Her care and presence had a huge impact on my mental health as well as my body. I cannot wait to book her again postpartum. If you’re considering a massage with Medina — do it. She’s an absolute gem.
