Isabel worked as our nanny for three years, starting part-time and working full-time as our family grew.  She was a blessing to our family, but most of all to our children.  We had three children, each born a year apart.  She was there postpartum for both Isaiah and Georgia, and also helped me with my oldest, Sam.  At one point, she was helping me with a 2-year-old, a 1-year-old, and a newborn baby!

It's hard to express how important Isabel was to our family.  Isabel helped us to adjust during the transitions of new babies, cared for each child as if they were her own, and always showed our children patience and love.  Some examples:

When I was in the hospital giving birth to Georgia, Isabel came over immediately and helped my spouse and elderly mother-in-law care for my VERY sick boys.  She'll tell you about lying between the boys and one of them projectile vomiting straight into the air, which, of course, rained down onto her.  I will be forever grateful she was there!

Isabel supported me through many breastfeeding struggles.  When I transitioned Isaiah from breastfeeding to the bottle, Isabel was able to soothe him and get him to accept the bottle.  

Isabel spent countless hours rocking, cuddling, rubbing backs, and singing to my littlest babies to put them to sleep.  If time allowed, she would even cuddle them for their entire nap.  

I have one child with a sensory processing disorder, and as it developed, Isabel showed him both patience and kindness.

Isabel could own a bakery.  Her baked goods are that good!

If I had a problem, Isabel would jump in and help me solve it.

Isabel is a generous, kind, responsible, and supportive soul.
