Alexa was honeslty the only person (other than my fiance) that helped my mental health for my birth and postpartum. I expected to have PPD and PPA as well as possible PPP and I was able to get ahold of her and get her services within DAYS before the birth (as well as get my insurance approved too!) and oh my goodness she was my savior. For the birth she made sure that any services offered to me from the hospital staff were truly what I wanted at the hospital and reassured me that I know what's best for my baby. And she was suited up for the c section in case my partner couldn't! (Luckily he was ok lol). 

Afterwards my entire pp she was so sweet to our little baby. She came to my home (an hour away!) and made sure I had everything I needed; a nap, food, water, to pump, to hold my little baby and just love on them! She even made me and my partner a delicious nutrient rich dinner (chicken, mashed potatoes, and veggies). On the hottest day we had she was able to make it and take care of little baby in a not ac installed home. And finally the last time she came, she asked me mental health questions (she did on the other days too and I finally opened up to my partner about some things and she made me safe to do so!) and reassured me of my feelings and thoughts being safe to speak out which really helped put our relationship and my hormonal feelings in a better space. 

Alexa was my safe space and peace for the birth and to our family (cause it's not just us mama's that suffer through this, our partners feel it too). If I could get more hours through my insurance I would ask for her to come so many more times. Thank you Alexa!!

Alexa was my doula for my second child. I felt unsupported during my first delivery, and Alexa helped me work through that experience and feel more prepared, both mentally and physically, for labor. Alexa is very responsive and radiates joy and calm. I highly recommend her services!
