I do not take insurance yet but I am willing to work with families through a sliding scale fee. Typically, I start off between $25-$35 a hour when I am offering postpartum support and child care. With 4 hours/3 days a week minimum. However, there are some cases I adjust depending on the family’s financial circumstances. When there is a financial burden I help by using a sliding scale fee base on what the family can afford when needing my service. For families that have a financial burden it’s $25 but for those who can truly afford the care $35-$50 a hour.

I had the opportunity to connect Avey with a family in need of postpartum care and I was deeply impressed by the way she showed up for them. Avey went above and beyond in every way. She was punctual, dependable, and communicated with clarity and care throughout her time with the family.
What stood out most was her calming and grounded presence. She has a natural way of holding space with empathy, strength and patience. She treated every aspect of her work with professionalism and respect, especially when it came to sensitive or personal matters.
It brought me peace of mind knowing that the family was in such capable and compassionate hands. Avey is someone I would trust without hesitation to support any family navigating the postpartum period. Her presence is truly a gift.

Avey was an incredible postpartum doula. She supported my partner and I as new parents. We were anxious expecting our first child with no close family in town when we met with Avey. We immediately appreciated her kind and knowledgeable approach. Prior to delivering she provided us with clear expectations and a tentative calendar. Our daughter came early, and she graciously shifted her calendar to make sure we had the support we needed in the first weeks. Early on as nervous newbies, she provided more directions with everyday tasks of feedings, burpings, and bath times. As our confidence grew she provided more of a sounding board to share best practices and her experiences as a doula and parent. If there were items we needed more support she would recommend experts. I struggled with latching early on and Avey helped address it at home. When I was unable to get a good latch she encouraged me to reach out to a lactation specialist and Avey attended the appointments with me and baby to make sure we had the best approach for our family with feeding. She also allowed my husband and I the ability to take moments to relax and help with childcare and household chores as we got our feet under us as parents. It truly made the first weeks more joyous to know I am providing my daughter with her needs and to be the best version of myself.

I and my family had a great experience with Avey!
I liked that she was quick to meet me when I first reached out to her. I needed to know if the arrangement could work and by making herself available on a short notice, it really helped my decision.
Avey was gentle with our baby, kept him clean and fed and quickly learned his behavior. She listened to our preferenc on everything and took notes. Talking about notes, her notes were always detailed and really helped in reviewing what could be improved.
Overall Avey turned out to be a great fit for my family during our time of need.
It was lovely working with Avey and I can definitely recommend her services.
