I met with a few other doulas before meeting Dalal, and I knew straight away that she was the doula for me. She has a great sense of humour and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment we started talking.

In the lead-up to my birth, Dalal came over to talk through what I was hoping for and what I wanted my birth to look like. She took the time to explain the different ways birth could unfold and really listened to both me and my partner. She was incredibly thoughtful too, preparing some lovely creams and tea for me ahead of the birth.

My birth ended up being extremely long, with lots of unexpected twists, and I felt supported by Dalal throughout the whole experience. She brought such a calm, caring presence and helped me feel supported no matter how things changed.

Her care didn’t stop once the baby arrived either. Afterwards, she came to our home with cookies for me and my older daughter, as well as some lovely broth and tea, and even helped clean the house. We also had the chance to debrief the birth together and talk through how I felt about everything that had happened, which I really appreciated.

Dalal is warm, caring, funny and incredibly supportive. I’m so glad she was part of such an important experience for our family, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

We did not know Dalal before hiring her as our doula for our first baby.  Once we met with her, we knew she would be the right person to be there with us through the journey.  Her warmth and open heart made us feel at ease while preparing for birth.  She stayed by our side during our entire extremely long birth (48 hours!). She kept us nourished, hydrated, and comforted.  She was the steady rock during what turned out to be a challenging birth experience. After our baby was born, she went above and beyond by helping us clean our home.  She brewed up magical healing infusions, gave me the most relaxing foot massage with an aromatic herbal soak, she checked in on us but gave space when needed, and ultimately she guided me through a private, ceremonial closing-of-the-bones ritual to complete my pregnancy.  Dalal was there for the most transformative experience of our lives and we will be forever grateful! We highly recommend her services!

Dalal is a wonderful human, which makes her a great doula! She was so helpful in supporting the both the birthing partner and non birthing partner. Her somatic approach and kind way of being make her a no brainer. And she has an ocean light that was a hit with everyone that came into our space. Thank you for all that you did to support us before, during, and after birth! You rock!
