Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 1 to 2 births and 1 to 2 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: No cigarette smokers or big dogs, cannot provide childcare for siblings, light housekeeping and meal preparation limited to needs for mom and baby only. 3-hour maximum for daytime postpartum visits and 8-hour maximum for overnight postpartum support services.

Fee Details

Birth doula services package ($3000) includes 3 prenatal, labor and delivery support and 3 postpartum visits. For labor and delivery support only, the charge is $1000 with "pay-as-you-go" postpartum services. 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon signing of the doula services contract, the remaining balance is due at 38 weeks or the onset of labor, whichever occurs first.
