My main employment is based around learning, teaching and resource creation for my Indigenous language, Kwak?wala, through the Sa_nyak_ola Foundation. This work is tightly woven into my doula supports if and when requested by families.

Fee Details

I am based out of Tsaxis (Fort Rupert). For postpartum my lower rate is for visits that take place during the day and higher rate is for evening visits (if requested). My birthing doula fee includes up to 2 prenatal support visits an hour long each, labour support, and 3 postpartum visits in the home.

Colette is amazing, she was professional and caring. Offering insight and support durring pregnancy where she could, but also directing me to dr/midwifery when it was needed. She was available when I needed to support durring midwife visits as well as some evening support later in my pregnancy when baby was starting to cause preclampsia. Colette was able to offer cultural support along with Dula supports, and helped me learn some language around babies and expressions of love. Colette was available to come postpartum to help with my daughter and was the only person to swaddle her to her liking. 

I would highly recommend Colette as she was loving and caring not just to baby but also to me as the mother, and was also offering support to the father as it was needed.
