I had the privilege of having Glo as my birth and postpartum doula, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. As someone who had always been terrified of giving birth, I can honestly say that my birth experience was not only positive, but actually enjoyable—and that was 100% because of Glo.
During our prenatal session, she took the time to educate both my husband and me on all things birth. We left feeling informed, confident, and empowered to advocate for ourselves and make decisions that felt right for our family. Glo was an incredible support throughout the process. She always made sure we understood our options and the evidence behind them, but never pushed us in any particular direction. Instead, she fully supported every decision we made, which made us feel respected, calm, and in control during such an important moment.
Her postpartum support was just as amazing. She provided immense emotional support during those early weeks, along with practical help with our baby, thoughtful guidance, and even assistance with meal prep and grocery shopping. Having her there made such a difference during a time that can feel overwhelming.
Glo truly helped shape our transition into parenthood into such a smooth, supported, and genuinely lovely experience. We are beyond grateful for her and feel so lucky to have had her by our side during this journey.

We had never even considered bringing on a doula until some of my co-workers recommended it. We're so grateful that we followed their advice and even more grateful that we found Glo. Right from our first meeting we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She had a great energy, was super professional, and put our minds at ease, walking us through even the most complex decisions. As first time parents, we have no idea where we'd be right now without her and if we choose to do it again she'll be the first person we call!

Glory was our birth and postpartum doula and was absolutely incredible—a true godsend. What an exceptional human-being! She went above and beyond in every way, providing calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate support prior to and during labor and in the postpartum period. She has a calming presence, and provided love and guidance for our baby and family. Prior to our baby's delivery, she came to our home to teach us about the stages of labor, positions for labor, and helped us create a birth plan. As baby came early, she moved around her schedule to provide postpartum support (even helping us on Thanksgiving) and helped us set up the nursery, picked up my breast pump and baby carrier from the pump station, and prepared healthy/delicious meal prep (our whole family ate the burritos and fruit bowls she made). I'm convinced that's why my milk supply was and continues to be so high!! Her background as a Professor/PhD was extremely helpful, as she's whip-smart and so humble about it. No job was too big or too small, and she just made the transition so wonderful. If she had any down time while baby was napping, she reorganized all his clothes, packed away clothes he was growing out of, organized my pump station, and taught my toddler ABCs. We loved working with her so much, we extended her contract as a toddler specialist and she helped us with our toddler's transition to preschool. If you're lucky enough she is available for your birth/postpartum period, you need to book TODAY, as she books out for months! She is an elite top 1% doula, and a one-of-a-kind human being.

Working with Glo was truly a blessing. She is a gem! Her warm energy was always a welcomed addition to my home. I used her for postpartum support and she always showed up with a smile and can-do attitude, ready to do whatever (sometimes odd) task I thought would help me better and more easily fulfill my new duties as a mother. She was incredibly supportive and non-judgmental helping me navigate first-time motherhood. From baby wearing to breastfeeding, Glo was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She also connected me with an amazing lactation specialist when I needed extra help with my baby’s latch. I especially appreciated that she was willing to help me tackle the every day problems overwhelming me, like the dishes and laundry piling up, humbly and without hesitation. She was a valuable part of my postpartum experience and will be forever grateful for her help.

When we started looking for a doula for my first pregnancy, I didn't even know where to start - I didn't even know what kind of help I needed but knew I needed support. I saw "Ears First" and was intrigued. I needed someone to listen to my concerns and questions big or small, and that's exactly what we found with Glory. From the first time meeting Glory, she was the grounded sounding board we needed as first time parents. No overwhelming information, no judgment. In a social media world where expecting mothers are bombarded with a million facts, "birth tips", etc., Glory helped me wade through the river of over-information with eveidence-based, science backed guidance while always leaving the decisions and opinions to me. Throughout my pregnancy she always check in on not only how my body and baby was feeling, but my head and my heart too. Her calm and gentle demeanor made big decisions easier to make.
Come time for my hospital delivery, I felt confident in knowing my options, understanding interventions and I was really able to focus in on my labor, being guided through the process with recommendations from Glory to help labor progress. I had my dream birth and I know wholeheartedly that Glory's presence, support and detailed understanding of my desires was a driving factor in my ability to trust myself and follow my instincts. She helped me see my power.
Every step of my pregnancy, delivery, and early postpartum was met with compassion, respect, and dedication from Glory. Having her as my doula was the best decision I made and I couldn't recommend her more. She'll be a forever friend of our family and we could not be more grateful for her!

Working with Glory as both our birth and postpartum doula was one of the best decisions we made. She is professional, trustworthy, calm, and genuinely goes above and beyond in every aspect of her work.
Postpartum, she was incredibly helpful with both emotional and practical support. She took initiative without ever overstepping, followed our lead as parents, and created a steady, reassuring presence in our home. She was excellent at baby-related care and household support, always keeping our kitchen sink clean and organized, and preparing truly delicious, nourishing meals that made a real difference during recovery. She also helped us troubleshoot very specific challenges related to sleep, bottle feeding, and lactation, and when something was outside her scope as a doula, she thoughtfully referred us to an excellent IBCLC, which we greatly appreciated.
She is highly communicative, responsive, and supportive, and consistently brought a warm, positive, and grounded energy. We trusted her completely and always felt respected and heard.
As a birth doula, she invested significant time outside of our scheduled prenatal meetings, providing education, guidance, and emotional support. When I encountered a complication that required an induction, she was especially helpful in walking us through what to expect and how to advocate for my needs. During labor and delivery, she was exceptional at protecting oxytocin, guiding positioning, and supporting both me and my husband as a true teammate. Her presence helped us feel confident, informed, and supported through labor, delivery, and into postpartum recovery.
We are incredibly grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, proactive, warm, and deeply supportive.

I am part of a program that supports pregnant women in need of shelter. Glory, without hesitation, generously dedicated her time and expertise. I can’t begin to describe how incredible she was throughout my labor and delivery. Her prenatal classes were not only informative, but also calming and reassuring—especially if you struggle with anxiety about labor. During my delivery, Glory made the entire experience smoother and more comfortable, not just for me but also for my loved ones. She was by our side every step of the way, offering support, comfort, and guidance. I truly believe that her knowledge, presence, and care played a huge role in making my delivery such a positive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Glory to anyone who has the opportunity to work with.

Working with Glory was amazing. She listens to your wants and needs and makes sure that your priorities are met. I was very unsure on how I wanted to give birth initially.. I was in between an induction and a C-section. I was also really iffy about breast-feeding. Glory helped me understand each procedure to the fullest. Once I made my decisions, she supported me fully. I had a great birthing experience and I truly don't think I would've had this if it wasn't for Glory supporting me. I ultimately chose a C-section and Glory was there every step of the way. She prepared me for surgery so I wasn't as nervous as I would've been. She also provided some overnights to give me a chance to heal after surgery. I am beyond grateful for her. She is so nice and I truly hope that we remain friends after this experience! If you are questioning getting a doula, I would not. It is the support I truly needed. I would also highly recommend Glory.

Glory was amazing to work with and such an invaluable member of our birth team– before, during, and after our son's birth. She is so warm, caring, and helpful– while also being extremely thorough and detail oriented. It was the perfect combo for us and made the whole birth process less intimidating for us as first time parents. We met a couple times during my pregnancy, and she guided us through developing our birth plan, explaining all our options along the way and helping us understand what to expect. She also included my partner at every step along the way and empowered him to know how best to support me on the day. It also helped that we felt a strong personality match and loved her sense of humor throughout. She always made herself available to us for questions, which ended up being crucial as my pregnancy timeline evolved ans our plans shifted. I can't imagine how differently my labor and delivery experience would have been without her guidance and support. We can't thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone.

It was truly an amazing opportunity to work with Glo. I was connected by a colleague of hers two weeks before I gave birth. During the intake Glo ensured to take notes of all my needs/ concerns. In our first in person interaction provided insightful education and flexibility in preparation for post partum. Glo began working with us the day after I came home from the hospital and was fortunate to have her services for the first month. She is open to learning your personal postpartum practices, holding family meetings rooted in shared outcomes, providing space for healing, and follow up information in between visits. My entire family adored Glo, enjoyed learning about her and felt relieved at the end of every visit. She is more than a doula, instead she felt like a long lost family friend. I would reccomend her to all families and look forward to be blessed with her services again one day.

Glory was our night nanny for the first six weeks with our newborn. Her calming and reassuring presence was an absolute blessing, and I don't know how we would have navigated these early weeks as first-time partnes without her. Glory provided nurturing care overnight while we were able to get much needed rest. Just knowing our baby was in capable, loving and rested hands allowed us to relax. Beyond overnight care, Glory taught the basics of newborn parenting, patiently answered questions and offered advice on swaddling techniques and feeding and sleeing routines, all of which helped us gain confidence as new parents. Glory's warm and supportive approach to our baby and to us was greatly appreciated, and we learned so much. It was a bittersweet moment saying goodbye after what felt like too short of time with Glory's care. If you are a new parent considering a night nanny and postpartum support, we couldn't recommend Glory more for her gift of nurturing, rest, confidence and peace of mind.

I HAD GLORY AS MY DOULA AND IT MADE SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! WE MET A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE THE BABY WAS BORN AND SHE WALKED ME THROUGH ABOUT WHAT TO EXPECT IN LABOR AND WE MADE A BIRTH PLAN TOGETHER AND SHE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS I HAD!! DURING LABOR SHE ALWAYS MADE SURE I HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED AND WAS COMFORTABLE. SHE ADVOCATED FOR ME AND MADE SURE I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON. SHE PLAYED CALMING MUSIC AND HAD A GLOW LIGHT WHICH MADE EVERYTHING SO PEACEFUL. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR BABY TO COME SHE DID BREATHING EXERCISES WITH ME WHICH HELPED TREMENDOUSLY. SHE CAME AFTER I GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL AS WELL AND WATCHED MY BABY WHILE I WAS ABLE TO EAT AND SHOWER. GLORY HAS BEEN SO AMAZING WITH ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS AND SUPPORTING ME AND MY BABY THROUGH POSTPARTUM. IM TRULY SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE HAD SUCH AN AMAZING DOULA AND BIRTH EXPERIENCE.

I had an amazing experience using Glory for prenatal and birth suppprt. I cannot say enough good things about her approach and would recommend her to anyone considering using a doula. She doesn't have a schtick or try to steer you towards a particular type of birth experience, which I really appreciated. She helps you figure out what you want and she's on board 100%.
She was also able to tailor our meetings based on what I wanted in terms of support and information, which helped us make the most of or time. I had done a few prepared childbirth classes through the hospital where I was planning to deliver, so I was already familiar with some basics, but Glory helped me dive into the topics I wanted more information on to come up with a birth plan that felt right to me.
As a birth support, she is everything you would want: calm, encouraging, and extremely responsive to how you're doing in the moment and what your needs are. I ended up delivering with a different doctor than my regular OB, and having Glory there helped make the entire process so much smoother. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone interested in using a doula.
