I volunteer a portion of my doula calendar to the Joy In Birthing Foundation and Harvest Home LA, and I'm honored to support clients experiencing homelessness or financial insecurity. I am also a member of the Board of Directors of the Doulas Association of Southern California.
Birth fee includes 3 prenatal visits; on-call availability starting from your 37th week of pregnancy; continuous labor support; 1 postpartum visit during the first 6 weeks; referrals to educational or community resources; availability for questions and reassurance. I am familiar with the Spinning Babies (R) approach. Postpartum fees: daytime $40; nighttime $45; nighttime awake care $50

I had an amazing experience using Glory for prenatal and birth suppprt. I cannot say enough good things about her approach and would recommend her to anyone considering using a doula. She doesn't have a schtick or try to steer you towards a particular type of birth experience, which I really appreciated. She helps you figure out what you want and she's on board 100%.
She was also able to tailor our meetings based on what I wanted in terms of support and information, which helped us make the most of or time. I had done a few prepared childbirth classes through the hospital where I was planning to deliver, so I was already familiar with some basics, but Glory helped me dive into the topics I wanted more information on to come up with a birth plan that felt right to me.
As a birth support, she is everything you would want: calm, encouraging, and extremely responsive to how you're doing in the moment and what your needs are. I ended up delivering with a different doctor than my regular OB, and having Glory there helped make the entire process so much smoother. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone interested in using a doula.
