Belly binding and post partum massage testimonial
Four weeks after delivery, I received 10 days of postpartum massage and belly wrapping. I have never gotten these treatments before so I was interested in trying it after my second baby was born. I wanted to see if it could help with my recovery.
The full body massage was very relaxing and worked out the tight areas in my body, especially my neck and shoulders from carrying and nursing my baby. Additionally, I felt like certain parts of the massage were working to put things back in place in my body after being stretched out from pregnancy. I could tell that the massage was helping to get rid of some fluid retention in my stomach area and midsection. Chris has a great technique and way of using her hands. She used the perfect amount of pressure for different points of my body. I looked forward to her massage everyday!
The belly wrapping was more comfortable than I thought it would be. I could easily sit, breathe, eat, breastfeed etc… Chris wrapped many layers of cotton fabric around my belly each day and she was always put on straight and even with exact precision. After 10 days I was really surprised to see such dramatic results in my midsection. My stomach slimmed down and did not bulge out as it did before. My midsection was lifted up, my back was straighter and the hips rested more level.
The combination of massage and belly wrapping completely improved my after birth body in such a positive way in a short amount of time. I would recommend Chris and this treatment to moms wanting a quicker recovery and a way back to their previous bodies before pregnancy

Doula Review
I am so fortunate to have Chris Ng be my postpartum nanny twice. The first time was in 2022 with our son. I could not imagine being a first time mom and navigating having a newborn without her.
Chris is such a kind, smart, and caring individual. She is honest, efficient and has a strong work ethic. She is always planning and thinking ahead which makes caring for a brand new baby feel not frantic or chaotic. Instead, it felt like everything moved smoothly and easily. She is a loving presence and has a happy, cheerful energy when you are around her.
Chris cared very deeply about our baby’s well-being. I’ve learned so much from her experience and watched how she observes how the baby is behaving and looks for his cues. She will see if adjustments can be made to feedings, sleep times, sleep training, latching, soothing techniques, etc…She’ll continually make subtle improvements to see if anything can be made better for you or your baby.
For postpartum recovery, her knowledge on recovery, how to make rich soup broths and lactation teas (devised from her own formulas), how to protect and care for my body was invaluable. I felt strong, emotionally level, and rested so that I could enjoy being with my baby even when some days or nights felt long.
In 2024, when I got pregnant again the first people to know were us, our doctor and Chris! We were so glad Chris was available to help our family again with our second son, Asher. Things fell into place smoothly but of course each baby is different and Chris was there on day one to guide us which felt so reassuring.
Chris is someone you want to be part of your support team. I can say she immediately became part of our family. She made our home and caring for our babies so happy and full of laughter. I wish this kind of experience for any mom with a newborn.

Dear future sleepless parent,
As a mother of “2 under 2” after a complicated delivery, having Chris (Hung Yuk Ng) over at our home was truly a blessing. As soon as Chris arrived, she was able to assess the needs of my newborn and myself and provided immediate relief and support. This allowed my husband to focus on our toddler, while I was able to heal and recover from my surgery. Her presence allowed our family to enjoy the newborn phase in a stress-free happy environment.
Chris is very experienced in both infant care and postpartum care for mothers. She is efficient and trustworthy; she will get everything done without cutting any corners. Our premature baby is feeding and sleeping on schedule thanks to Chris, and had outstanding growth progress with every doctor’s visit. What I love about Chris is she’s very understanding, practical, and has a great sense of humor. She has a solution to any issue your infant may encounter. Even though this was my second child, I learned better techniques in nursing, bathing, and simplifying our everyday routine in a way that fits our lifestyle.
Also noteworthy are Chris’ culinary skills. What really impressed me was she could whip up an amazing meal out of whatever ingredients we already had in our pantry and fridge. She’s very creative and I was able to learn many easy and delicious recipes from her. It was such a treat to have healthy and flavorful home cooked meals everyday, which really helped with my nursing and recovery.
It is clear to me Chris is an exceptional postpartum nanny, one that would contribute greatly to any family who is lucky enough to have her. Please make sure you book her early as she is in high demand. I wholeheartedly recommend her and wish her the very best in all future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Phon

I first met Hungyuk (Yu Jie) when she was referred by my sister. Our first son was born in 2016, and Yu Jie stayed with us for 30 days. She exceeded our expectations, so we asked her to return when available. She came back to stay with us for 8 months until my son was 1 year old. When we became pregnant with our 2nd and 3rd sons, she was the first person we would contact. In all she spent 2 years with us!
Yu Jie’s main strengths are her upbeat personality, her patience and experience with babies, and the right balance of wisdom without being pushy. Her experience with babies is obvious when she can distinguish from the baby’s cry and expression whether he is hungry, sleepy, or gassy. When we couldn't get him to burp or sleep, she took over and immediately got results!
What I most appreciated is her ability to give advice without pushing you to follow it. I was a fairly opinionated first-time mom who read a lot of websites and have a certain way I want to do things. While she would voice her opinion, Yu Jie is supportive of the way the parents want to raise the child. For example when it comes to formula, bottle-feeding, how long the baby should sleep, and more.
As our children grew older, Yu Jie always found the right balance of attentive yet encouraging our sons to learn by themselves. For example, she would read to them and teach them skills but make sure that they had independent play-time, so they weren't too spoiled and needing attention. By age 1, all 3 of them were speaking well in Mandarin, using the toilet, self-feeding and drinking from cups, and playing independently. She is also an amazing cook. All of us loved her food!
We can’t say enough about how great Yu Jie was for our family. She is like a member of our family, extremely trustworthy, always thinking about what’s best for our children, and she’s very easy to get along with.
