Working with Meaghan as my doula was one of the best decisions I made for my first pregnancy and birth. From the very beginning, she was patient, thorough, and always willing to answer my endless questions. She helped me understand all my options and created a thoughtful birth plan that reflected my preferences while throughly preparing me for different circumstances /what-if's. She was also extremely helpful in connecting me with resources for things like encapsulating my placenta, cord blood donation, birthing classes, etc  

When things didn’t go exactly as planned and my baby’s heart rate started fluctuating during labor, having Meaghan there was 20,000× worth it. She kept me calm, explained what was happening, and made sure I still felt informed and empowered every step of the way. Her presence made the entire experience so much more relaxed and it truly felt like having a labor and delivery expert and a trusted friend in the room.

Even after my son was born, Meaghan continued to go above beyond, and she answered questions about my newborn long after our official/professional relationship together had ended  

I can’t say enough good things about her. If you’re on the fence about hiring a doula, especially Meaghan — do it. She made one of the most intense experiences of my life not only manageable, but meaningful and empowering.
