Timbrel is one of the most supportive, sweet, and professional doulas I know.  Having been around the birth world for quite some time, she knows the ins and outs of the perinatal care system both in the hospital and community setting.  She has a unique ability to completely empathize, while still pushing you to advocate for the best perinatal care possible.  During my last pregnancy when my midwives were pushing intervention and pushing back against my desire to have a water birth, she had my back and helped me pull research to share with them.  She also had great suggestions for herbs for during and after labor.  Not only that, I knew she had my back completely.  A doula and a friend for life!
