Post a testimonial for Priyal Panchal

I really appreciated the support provided by Pri during labor and delivery. Pri has a calm, trustworthy, and likeable demeanor. She offered a number of pragmatic suggestions on how to position myself to manage contraction pain and better position baby for delivery. She seemed very knowledgeable and studious about all things childbirth related. I also appreciated her flexibility to accomodate our preferences for doula services. I would certainly recommend her to other families seeking doula support!

Priya has been an invaluable presence throughout my pregnancy, providing consistent emotional, physical, and informational support. She's a a trusted resource, offering a safe space to discuss concerns, fears, and joys without judgment.
From helping me explore birthing preferences and developing my birth plan to practicing breathing techniques and coping mechanisms, her guidance has been empowering. She helps bridge communication with my medical team, ensuring my voice is heard and I feel confident and informed every step of the way. This continuous support has reduced my anxiety and helped me trust my body's natural process as I prepare for birth.

Priyal helped make my birthing experience more pleasant than the circumstances would have permitted without her! By this I mean in the face of change, which for myself had been my whole birthing plan, she went out of her way to fly home from out of the country to be there for me when I got the news that my preeclampsia had developed too much and my son would be here earlier than expected. I had a plan in place that she helped me develop with things that sooth me on a regular basis, points of support and people whom I felt comfortable to call when things got rough, but most of all I had the idea that I would give birth at my birthing center instead of a hospital, so when I had to be induced I didn't expect there to be much comfort in the process. My induction didn't go by fast, and without a partner and only family I didn't feel much support in the longevity of my time in the hospital, especially with the fact I did not get to do any of my pre labor at home like expected; but when the time came and the contractions were very much active she was there to massage me and let me use her own distraction efforts to ease the discomfort. Our meetings before and after gave me the support I needed to not feel so alone, and the postpartum recovery tools such as the herbal bath and the extra preemie diapers were enough to make me cry because it was all I had to focus on my healing and vulnerability. She was truly a blessing during the hardest 36 hours of my life and I hope she can be apart of your birthing process as well!
