We are incredibly grateful that we connected with Kira! From the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, supportive, and so welcoming. Kira helped my husband and I feel confident, informed, and prepared for both pregnancy and the birth experience. Kira was my doula for my second baby, first homebirth. Kira being by my side was life changing. She is kind, dedicated, calm, knowledgeable, and so incredibly helpful when it comes to pain management. She was keeping me breathing well, anticipating my needs,keeping me centered, and was genuinely there for me at every contraction. I am so blessed to have had Kira as my doula, and to have had her also encapsulate my placenta! I would recommend Kira to any woman in any birth setting. She is incredible!

We worked with Kira to deliver our second baby and it was a fantastic experience from the start! She was easy to schedule a call with and after chatting for 10-15 minutes, I knew she'd be a great fit. Scheduling and communication made it easy to plan and she quickly became someone we could trust! We most appreciated her ability to listen well, take what we say/want, and help us go in that direction. We always felt supported in our decisions and the birth experience we desired! Kira clearly loves what she does and you will be in good hands if you are able to work with her.

I would highly recommend Kira if you are in search of a doula. I wasn't real sure about having a doula at first I didn't really know what there role was and I wasn't sure I was the type to want an outside person in that intimate space with me. My husband and I could not say enough about all that Kira did for us and we couldn't imagine the birth without her. She was a calming presence and helpful guide to my husband and she was a friend and encouragement to me. She prayed with us and for us during pregnancy, she came early and labored with me because we were new to this and wanted the reassurance, she stayed after and made sure we were fed and taken care of, she helped us even after birth when we didn't know what to do when we had a scare with our newborn. Kira quickly became more than a doula but a friend. She exceeded our expectations. Her servant heart and calm, loving presence was such a blessing to us. Kira will always have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to hiring her again in the future!

My heart swells when I think about Kira. My husband and I were so blessed to have her by our side during the birth of our first baby girl. Every contraction she was at my hips, squeezing so hard I could feel her shaking. Between each contraction she was making sure I was hydrated, refilling my ice cup, giving me electrolytes and a honey stick. Each decision there was to be made she was apart of the conversation giving me hope and reassurance with every choice. I remember as I was nearing the end of pushing, her encouraging me and telling me I was about to meet my sweet baby girl. She stayed long into the night, way longer than she needed to just to make sure I was okay, knowing she had a long hour drive home in the middle of the night. I appreciate Kira more than she will ever know. She is living out the Lords calling on her life and it shows. The way she encouraged me through my pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum and even now. My daughter is 8 months old and we talk weekly! She was just as important as my husband was to have there with me through it all. My husband and I talk often about how excited we are to call her when we’re pregnant with our next baby! If you’re looking for a doula and friend for the rest of your life, look no further. Our family loves and will forever cherish Kira!

Kira was incredible during the birth of my son. From the moment she arrived, not only did she provide me and my husband peace and comfort through her presence and calming words, but she also came ready with different positions and techniques to try to continue the progression of my labor. She knew just what to do and when to do it. I remember her continually reminding me to relax my shoulders and jaw, and that I CAN do it in the moments when I felt like I couldn't. She let me hold onto her the whole time I was pushing, she held a bucket for me when I felt nauseous. She was there, and I mean really there, for it all. As a fellow VBAC mom, I loved that she had personal experience with that as well. I couldn't recommend Kira enough!!

Kira took the time to understand our birth plan and wishes for our birth. She taught me how to appropriately advocate for myself during labor by ensuring I understood my rights and how to explain my needs to my doctors. Kira knew that I did not want medical interventions during labor and continuously supported me and encouraged my decision. Kira supported my husband and helped him better understand what was happening while it was happening. She assisted him in how to support me (verbally and physically) so that we had the most positive connection during labor. She was able to allow him to have calm moments for himself when needed by being by my side for his peace of mind. Following the birth of my son, Kira offered assistance with questions that I had about my recovery and how to breastfeed. The doctor who delivered my son expressed gratitude for the support that Kira was able to offer our family during labor and reported that he was impressed with her knowledge and demeanor. I am forever thankful for everything that Kira did for our family.

Kira was my doula for the birth of my first child. I was really nervous for birth and she really made me feel at ease during my pregnancy by providing me with knowledge and helping me develop my birth plan. During labor and birth, she was a calming familiar face that supported me throughout the entire process.  Then, when my son was taken to the NICU, Kira stayed by my side the for hours so that my husband could be with the baby. I truly could not have gotten through that day without her. After birth she has always been a text or phone call away. She is an awesome doula and I would highly recommend her to any new mom looking for extra support.
