My husband and I loved working with Shana. She took a good care of me during my labor and delivery. Her presence and encouragement comforted me. She not only took care of me, but she also made sure my husband felt supported the whole time. Shana also took raw and beautiful photos of us meeting our baby that we will cherish forever. We are glad and grateful that she was our birth doula.

Shana was a fantastic doula! Shana is calm, collected, and super knowledgeable. She was great at coaching me through the birth process, advising me in prenatal exercises, and checking in after birth as well. Looking back, I couldn’t imagine going through birth without her there to help! She makes herself available day and night, and was super helpful at calming my nerves leading up to my first birth.

Having Shana as our doula for our first little one was nothing short of a miracle and blessing!

My husband and I wanted to find someone who supported our faith and would advocate for our desire to have the most natural experience possible within a hospital setting. When the time came and our birth plans changed outside of our control, Shana reminded me to focus on what I could control and that my body was built for bringing our son into this world. She offers such peace, stability, a vast range of effective tools, and sound advice as a loving, experienced, and strong mama herself. From start to finish, I truly couldn't have imagined having anyone else by our side during pregnancy and childbirth. Shana is absolutely incredible at what she does. She brings such a calming, grounding, and encouraging energy to her clients. We were so blessed to work with her during pregnancy, have her by our side at our daughter’s birth, and receive her loving support postpartum. Her knowledge is vast, her intuition is spot on, and her presence is so warm and peaceful. She has a gift for making you feel safe, seen, and cared for.

During my labor, Shana was a superhero, guiding my husband and me through different positions, offering hands-on support, collaborating with the doctors and nurses, and helping to create the most calm, sacred environment. She was my advocate throughout the process, and I can’t imagine our birth experience without her.

Working with Shana for my first birth was such a dream! I switched my birth plan and doula late in pregnancy and she was incredibly accommodating in making sure we got in all the pre birth meetings before my birth month. At the meetings she was so present and warm and encouraging. She provided great resources and continued to check in regularly as my due date approached. 

I can't imagine doing my birth without Shana. Her calm and grounding presence kept me connected to my body and my baby throughout. She made suggestions about laboring positions when appropriate, and stepped into the background when I needed space to go internal or connect with my husband. After birth she made sure I felt supported breastfeeding and did a home visit to check on me and our new little one. She genuinely cared for our whole little family.

Thank you so much Shana! My baby came into the world surrounded by so much love and that is the biggest blessing.

Our doula Shana was amazing! We hired her close to our due date but she was still ready to help us. After meeting with us and asking us some questions, she put together a playlist that played while I was in labour.

During the labor, which started late in the evening and went to the early morning, Shana was there to help. She was by my side and gave me encouraging words while I was pushing and my husband told me that during my labour, she was telling the doctors and nurses about the preferences I told her about.

Shayna helped us after the delivery too. She helped me get my post partem room ready and stayed with me to hold our baby while I laid down to rest and my husband went out to get food at a favorite restaurant. She even met us a few days later at our home to check in and see how we were doing. She gave us notes and photos she had taken at the hospital, and helped us set up a Meal Train.

I am happy and honored to recommend shayna to any soon to be mom ????

My husband and I have different backgrounds which are also different from what unites us here in the US. Thinking about birth and the amount of support beyond doctors and nurses that our mothers rely upon in our countries, we never expected to have anything like this here in US especially with our families being very far. But in God’s providence, we were blessed by Shana, our Doula, who single-handedly provided that support that our mothers always relied upon. Shana took an amazing care of me and my baby. She encouraged me and stood by me the whole time through labor and made the doctors and nurses job way easier. Her thoughtfulness, joy and kindness made my labor smooth. She knew what I needed and made sure I received it every time and even helped my husband to feel more at peace in his role also knowing that I was in great hands. We can’t recommend Shana’s service enough, nor thank her enough for all that she did for us.

I first met Shana when I was pregnant with my second baby. The first thing she said to me was "Tell me about your first birth experience." I immediately knew that she was a deeply caring individual. Every time I saw Shana, she made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. She helped me find tools to heal from a challenging first birth and helped me rewrite my experience with an empowered, supported, and magical second birth. Shana made herself available for whatever support I needed throughout my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. I could come to her exactly as I was, and she was always there to listen and provide compassionate support. I truly felt cared for like I was a part of her family. Shana is an excellent doula, and I would recommend her to anyone.

Shana bartlett was at the the birth of all five of my children. I have also been at a few births where she was the attending Doula. She is knowledgeable, sensitive, discerning, so helpful, patient, and endlessly encouraging! An amazing Doula can make all the difference in having the birth experience you desire. I would recommend shana to anyone without any reservations!

Shana was such a blessing to have at the birth of my second child. I didn't have a doula for the birth of my first, so it was a delight to have Shana there for my second more difficult birth experience. I was hoping that my second birth experience would be shorter than the first, however, when labor proved to take about as long as the first but with more intense contractions I was disappointed and found myself struggling. What worked for me through my first labor wasn't working as well this time and having Shana's support was invaluable. She was right there with me, softly saying soothing words of encouragement, gently massaging me, and physically supporting my head while I was in the birth pool. Her support kept me calm and gave me faith that I could make it through. Her constant reminders on how to breathe through the contractions and keep my cries low and grounded were a huge help as contractions intensified and the pain grew. Prior to labor I had taped encouraging quotes up on the wall above my labor space which I was too lost in labor land to pay any attention to, but she started reading them to me. Having those quotes to give my mind focus through labor provided a boost that I wouldn't have had without her. Shana was exceptional at noticing what I needed without having to say anything. Throughout my labor she was calm and ready to help in any way I needed, her presence as labor went on through that long night was invaluable and I could not recommend her more.

I can’t recommend Shana more highly to an expecting mom. She was truly an angel and a life saver to my husband, baby boy and I through my tough 40 hours of labor.

Shana is incredibly kind, encouraging, selfless, and in tune with a laboring mama’s needs and the needs of her family. I’ll never forget how she advocated for me and made me feel safe, loved, encouraged, and cared for when I felt most vulnerable and exhausted. She encouraged me so much through her gentle and loving words and breathing coaching. There were so many moments she knew just what I needed, even when I didn’t!

I’m so thankful for the support she gave to my husband as well that enabled him to get the rest and encouragement he needed. We I wanted to have a natural, unmedicated birth and Shana was so supportive in helping me reach my goals. I look back at my son’s birth as a positive and beautiful story despite its length and challenges because of the love and support of my wonderful husband and doula. She has blessed me and my family more than we can ever say!
