We knew from our very first call with Sarah that we wanted her to be our doula. She has a calm, supportive presence that we connected with immediately. We felt we would be more confident going into birth with her deep expertise in birth and babies, and we absolutely were.

Before birth, Sarah met with us and brought information and strategies that really helped set us up for success. She answered our many questions, guided me through making frozen pads, taught us about breastfeeding, and encouraged us to have productive conversations about what we wanted for our birth and postpartum experience. She listened to what was important to us and created a thoughtful birth plan.

During early labor, Sarah communicated with us throughout the process and gave clarity to what was happening and how to proceed. She knew when it was best to wait, when to go to the hospital, and when be there with us in person. Her calm confidence made a huge difference during a time when it would have been easy to feel overwhelmed.

During the birth itself, Sarah was incredibly important to us. She talked us through each phase and was exactly the right amount of reassuring, supportive, and involved. Birth was certainly not painless, but Sarah helped make it less painful and much less frightening. Her presence gave us confidence and helped us stay grounded.

Postpartum, Sarah continued to be an incredible source of support. She taught us how to trim our baby's fingernails and give him a sponge bath, was available to answer questions, and helped me improve my breastfeeding experience. Her practical guidance and reassurance gave us a huge boost in confidence as new parents.

We are so grateful that Sarah was part of our birth and the beginning of our journey as parents. She brought expertise, calm, kindness, and genuine care to every stage. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.
