Francesca was an absolute godsend in our birthing process (vaginal, epidural, in hospital, low risk pregnancy with minimal complications) and we couldn't recommend her highly enough. 

Our connection to Francesca was unusually late - we were matched to her at 38 weeks of pregnancy but she made up for that rapidly. She used a quick virtual meeting to establish our birth preferences, and then used an in person meeting and offline content to give us techniques and guidance to feel prepared and supported in the short timeframe.

During labor, Francesca struck a great balance between being there when we needed her guidance and support, but also knowing when we needed space either for mom herself or for the two of us. She helped with breathing techniques and positioning, reminded us to take time and not feel pressured in making decisions, and instilled confidence in us throughout.

We couldn't be more grateful to have had Francesca for this life changing event, and would recommend her to any expecting couple.

My husband and I hired Franchesca as our doula pretty last minute as it was already the month I was due. Franchesca really helped us to ease our anxieties and fears of first time parents. She was super flexible with her schedule and we were able to meet to work on a birth plan and to practice different movements to prepare my body for a unmedicated natural childbirth. . She was also very responsive through text. We didn't get to all of our prenatal visits so she offered us an extra postpartum visit which was really nice of her. If we had any questions she was always super informative and shared multiple resources with us. During the day of labor she constantly checked in on us and made herself available for when ever we were ready for her to come over to our apartment to help with laboring at home. Throughout laboring at home and also at the hospital Franchesca was constantly giving me positive affirmations, doing hip squeezes, overall following our birth plan and just filling in any way we needed her like helping us carry things we needed at the hospital. During and after the delivery she kept checking in on me to see how I was doing and offering things to make sure I was comfortable. I had a really great birthing experience in which my birth plan really came to reality as I was able to give birth unmedicated while feeling calm and supported. We're super thankful to Franchesca for all of her support. Having Franchesca for postpartum visits was also great! My husband and I were able to get much needed bonding time, she thought me how to wrap myself and was also able to help us with baby laundry. We would definitely recommend you hire Franchesca as your doula! :)

My time with Francesca has been absolutely amazing. As this is my first time having a doula, I say 10/10 will always recommend. Francesca has been supportive, attentive, caring, gave great advice, and has been an all around joy to interact with. During my labor she’d remind me to breathe through my contractions as I would attempt to hold my breath, not smart I know lol. She also used this technique called Shaking The Apple Tree amidst my contractions, oh my goodness that is an incredible technique!!! Not only did it help ease the pain of my contractions it felt great on my lower back. Outside of my partner being present, having Francesca in the delivery room brought me a sense of comfort. Her presence was just that calming and I am so grateful to have had her as a doula.
