Veeda was a godsend during my pregnancy, delivery, and now postpartum . I don’t know what I would have done without her. The best investment in myself I could have made!

I cannot imagine going through the birth of my first baby without Veeda. Before my due date she was always available to answer any question, send me resources to help manage those last few weeks of pregnancy, and helped prepare me for what to expect (and tell me that no matter what I won't be fully prepared). From the moment my water broke, through the next 72 hours of contractions and labor, and until we safely had our baby with us, Veeda was our main support. She was calm, present, and a source of so much relief amidst all the chaos of being in the hospital and making decisions and navgiating so many transitions with care teams. Even though we had other family around and other people helping, she was irreplaceable. She's basically superhuman, and if I could go back and do it again I wouldn't change a thing about how Veeda was by my side. Even after baby came home, we kept in touch and she's still such a large part of our story. I thank Veeda one million times but it still can't capture how important she was during those blurry days and weeks. If you are lucky enough to have Veeda guiding you, you are in brilliant and safe hands, and she will make sure you feel cared for and supported, and CONFIDENT. If we ever have another, my first call will be to Veeda to have her help us again.

I truly can’t recommend Veeda enough as a doula. I originally met her through pelvic floor PT during my pregnancy, and choosing to have her support me through the birth of my son was one of the best decisions I made.

My labor was an induction and a long process involving misoprostol, a Foley balloon, intense back labor, and eventually an epidural. Veeda was incredible throughout it all. She helped me manage contractions and back labor with different positions and hands-on techniques, and once I had the epidural, she continued helping me change positions and use my body as effectively as possible as labor progressed.

She was also an incredibly calming presence. She helped me understand what was happening and think through my options without ever making decisions for me or pushing me toward a particular type of birth. When I chose to get the epidural, she was completely supportive and immediately shifted her focus to helping me have the best experience possible with it.

Veeda was wonderful with my husband as well. She helped him know how to support me and kept him involved rather than taking over his role. She worked seamlessly alongside the nurses and medical team while remaining completely focused on what I needed.

Her knowledge of the body from being a pelvic floor PT was an added bonus, particularly when it came to positioning, but what made her such an amazing doula was how supported, safe, informed, and cared for she made me feel.

Having Veeda there made such a difference in my birth experience. I’m incredibly grateful she was there when my son was born and would choose her again without hesitation.
