Emiliean is incredible. I highly recommend Emiliean to all my friends! I could sing her praises all day. I had the opportunity to receive coaching from her virtually during COVID a few years ago. She gave me husband and I the tools and confidence we needed to labor without medication. It was the single most empowering experience of my life. It was super rewarding for my husband to be such a a huge part of the labor and birthing experience. The skills she taught us were invaluable. We loved our experience so much, we hired her again for for my latest pregnancy. We love how she involves my husband, how fun she is to talk to, and answers all our questions and concerns so we feel prepared for anything. It was an incredible experience having her there in the room when my baby was born. She was an absolute angel in the way she took care of me through gentle touch, coaching my husband, and advocating for me. She even took time to write down the event for me so we could discuss the details later. This woman also taught me how to nurse and latch my baby, burp my baby effectively, helped me identify my baby's dairy allergy, what nursing snacks would keep me full, and how to not generally feel like a zombie postpartum.

If you are on the fence about reaching out to her, consider this me pushing you off the fence. Hire this woman!

This was my second birth and I was looking for a different Doula than my first. I have some trauma history that adds further complications to labor/birth and wanted to find a Doula that was experienced, trustworthy, respectful, supportive and knowledgeable. I found that and more with EmilieAn!

As a Doula she excels in her profession. She is very knowledgeable and helped educate me as she provided prenatal, labor/birth, and postpartum support. She was always prompt in her communication, skilled in being able to read a room and efficiently provide the needed birth support style. She’s even made these documents that help the couple better understand one another and “turn towards” each other through this process so they can more fully support one another. Not to mention she also has this deck of birth positions and such that came in clutch during labor. We used it before and then during my epidural. In my follow-up doctor appointment, my doctor even mentioned how impressed she was with my Doula and that she intends to recommend her to others.

I highly recommend EmilieAn and found that having her on my team made for a completely different birth experience. When I had trauma trouble, she knew how to respond and follow-through. Overall, this birth experience was very ‘healing’ for me and I can see how birth can actually be something miraculous. Having a Doula is a game changer, but having the right fit makes all the difference.

As the husband, I didn’t really care which doula my wife chose, but I’m sure glad she chose EmilieAn. EmilieAn is funny yet professional, easy to connect with, and provided all the emotional support and guidance we were hoping for and more. She is an expert in her field. All the nurses and doctors were impressed with her knowledge. Although we only did a routine vaginal delivery with an epidural, having EmilieAn help guide us through the labor and delivery process was so helpful even though this was our second birth. EmilieAn was especially helpful in knowing how to help those that are survivors of sexual assault to have a healing birth experience. Would 100% recommend EmilieAn to anyone.
