I help you understand your birthing options so you can make informed decisions and teach you how to advocate for what you want, no matter how natural or medicalized you desire your birth experience to be. I have experience at the St. Cloud Hospital, Maple Grove Hospital, Hutchinson Health Hospital, St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, and Lakewood Health System in Staples.

I support you both physically and emotionally so that you are mentally prepared to give birth outside of the hospital setting. I have experience at A New Story Birth Center in Milaca and the Twin Cities Birth Center in St. Paul.
Attends home births? Any Home Birth
I help you prepare physically and mentally for a physiological birth experience in the comfort of your own home. I have attended numerous homebirths with various midwife practices. I am willing to support families choosing freebirth/unassisted birth under certain circumstances.

Fee Details
I offer flexible, interest-free payment plans. I am not currently able to accept insurance (although I'm working on hopefully getting approved to be in network with medicaid), however, many insurance companies are beginning to offer doula service coverage and I am able to provide a superbill or invoice for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement of your payment for doula services. Listed above are my postpartum visit hourly rates, which are available as add-ons to an existing birth or postpartum doula package. My postpartum doula packages range between $325 - $1,200.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the support I received from Saralicia . After a very difficult pregnancy where I often felt like decisions were out of my hands, she helped me and my husband feel truly prepared and confident going into delivery. She took the time to educate me, and empowered me to make informed choices about my birth.
Together, we created a 3 different birth plans that reflected my wishes and gave me the tools to advocate for myself no matter which way delivery went. Having her by ourside made all the difference—I felt heard, supported, and strong throughout the entire process. She helped my husband to feel helpful, useful and included during the whole process as well.
Thanks to her guidance and steady presence, I was able to experience a birth that was even more positive than I could have imagined, and I did it without pain medication, which felt incredible. She not only helped me welcome my baby into the world, but also gave me the gift of believing in myself during one of the most important moments of my life. She also took a few pictures and video shortly after delivery that is priceless to us.
If you are looking for someone who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to your birth experience, I can’t recommend her enough. She helped me feel so incredibly powerful and proud through my labor and delivery!
