Hiring Rachel was truly the best decision my husband and I made for our birth experience. Throughout my pregnancy, we weren’t sure if hiring a doula was necessary, but as we approached the end—especially planning a hospital birth—we decided it could be helpful. The moment we met Rachel, we knew without a doubt that she was exactly who we needed.
Shortly after signing our contract, our birth plans changed unexpectedly. I can’t imagine walking through that experience without Rachel. She guided us through every step with such calm and confidence, making an overwhelming situation feel supported and manageable
Rachel’s level of care went far beyond what we ever expected. She anticipated needs before we even knew we had them. She made sure my husband and mom were fed during labor, brought me not one but two smoothies while I was laboring, and was a steady, reassuring presence the entire time. She also captured photos after my baby was born, giving us memories we will cherish forever.
After we returned home from the hospital, Rachel continued to show up for us in such a tangible way—bringing lunch and groceries to our home, which was such a gift during the tender postpartum season.
What meant the most to us was Rachel’s advocacy. She supported and protected the birth experience I hoped for, taking on the role of advocate so my husband could focus fully on supporting me and caring for our baby. Rachel has an incredible understanding of the hospital environment and a way of making you feel calm, informed, and deeply prepared before you ever walk through the doors.
Rachel is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the families she serves. Hiring her was one of the best choices we made, and I will forever be grateful for the care, support, and peace she brought into our birth story. I cannot recommend her highly enough

Doula Rachel was absolutely incredible and made our birth experience everything we hoped for and more. She brought such calm, care, and confidence to every moment — using counter pressure, a TENS machine, and birth combs to help me manage pain, and even setting the mood with candles and snacks to keep us both comfortable and grounded.
She supported not just me but my husband too, giving him tools and reassurance to be present and grounded in my labor. Her presence made me feel safe, empowered, and truly cared for.
We’re endlessly grateful for her warmth, intuition, and dedication she turned what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with peace and strength. I can’t recommend her enough!
