Having Emilee as our doula was one of the best decisions we made for our birth experience. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and so easy to approach throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, it was clear how invested she was in our labor and delivery. She genuinely cared about our well-being and went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported every step of the way.

She introduced us to several coping techniques that truly helped me manage the pain and stay grounded during labor (unmedicated and reached 5cm dilation before c-section was decided). As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed, but she guided me through difficult situations with calm, clarity, and compassion. There were moments where her guidance even helped us arrive at the right decisions for our family.

We are deeply grateful for her presence, her expertise, and the comfort she brought into our birth journey. I couldn’t imagine going through this experience without her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable doula.

When we found Emilee I knew we needed her for our birth. This was our first baby and we knew we wanted extra support through the process. Not only did we click with her right away but I left every interaction with her feeling so heard, comforted and supported. She gave us such helpful information, was always available to listen and be there leading up to birth too. 

When labor began I felt all the feelings and Emilee was there to hold my hand through it all. She was the calm presence we needed. She listened, encouraged and guided us each step. We truly don't know what we would have done without her. She made the experience as a whole feel safer and more beautiful. We are forever grateful for her and her true gift. ??

Working with Emilee was such a blessing. Every time I met or talked with her, I felt like I had known her much longer than I actually had. She has such a warm, grounding presence. When my birth plan ended up shifting in a completely different direction and I delivered at the hospital instead of a birth center, she was incredibly supportive and proactive every step of the way. She kept me informed, reassured, and never once made me feel alone in the changes. I tend to be anxious and overthink things, but Emilee really helped lessen those feelings and helped me stay calm. Even though my birth didn’t follow my original plan, it ended up being such a positive, smooth, and safe experience! Having her at my birth made the experience feel more reassuring and peaceful. Now that I’m in the 4th trimester, she continues to be an amazing resource, checking in, offering guidance, and supporting me through this new phase. I’d recommend her to any of my loved ones, and if this weren’t my third and final baby, I would absolutely choose to have her by my side again!

It was such a blessing to have Emilee support me during the birth of my second baby! She held me with care and compassion through a 32 hour unmedicated induction. She offered a variety of coping tools and strategies to help me at the times I needed the most. I feel so grateful.

My labor lasted much longer than I expected, and I don’t know how I would have managed without Emilee. She stayed by my side the entire time—calm, reassuring, and fully present. Her counter pressure techniques brought real relief and helped me stay grounded through the pain. When we finally met our baby, it felt even more special knowing she had been there every step of the way. I’m so grateful she was part of my birth journey.

I wouldn’t have had my dream birth experience without Emilee. She reassured me of my strength, supported my husband and I on our birth plan, and guided us through every step of the process. Since our prenatal visits, she helped me work through my fears and made me feel labor ready. When the day arrived, Emilee created a space that was both calm and empowering, allowing me to have an unmedicated birth and labor confidently for 8 hours (I truly trusted my team and my body). She is very knowledgeable—attentive to labor cues, supportive of a wide range of birth plans and preferences, and an expert in all things breastfeeding! Emilee is a fantastic doula! She was present, knowledgeable, and attentive to my birth preferences starting with our first zoom call. She helped to alleviate my anxiety by creating a calming atmosphere and providing direction when I was in labor. My husband and I were so grateful to have Emilee's support and insight when I was struggling, and became discouraged during my stalled induction. Emilee offered pain-management tools, and I found her TENS machine to be particularly helpful. Additionally, she has promptly answered many questions about breastfeeding and taking care of my newborn during my first three months postpartum. So helpful, highly recommend!

Hiring Emilee as our doula for our second child's birth was the best decision we could have made. She was phenomenal, and her positive energy was a joy to be around from our first meeting to the birth and postpartum period. My labor and delivery were remarkably easy and I truly believe it’s because she was there supporting us along the way. Her use of counter pressure and various laboring techniques created a dream birth scenario with zero complications. Emilee also empowered me to advocate for my wishes and was a huge source of support for my husband, making us both feel confident throughout the entire process. We highly recommend her; she was an amazing addition to our birth team.

We are so thankful to have Emilee at the birth of our son! She came to our house during early labor and offered much needed emotional support and practical knowledge on how to labor and ease into contractions. I had a goal of going unmedicated, and Emilee was a great resource throughout this process. When plans needed to change, Emilee was supportive and helped me to make the decisions I needed ot make in the hospital. She was also a great resource and relief for my husband during almost 2 full days of labor. We are so glad that we got the chance to work with Emilee and definitely recommend her to anyone considering a doula!

Where do I start? Emilee has truly been a godsend during my pregnancy and of course during our unexpected emergency c-section to bring our lovely daughter into this world. I am someone who is of high stress & anxiety - I wanted a natural birth, completely unmedicated but we all know birth has its own plans. When I ended up in the emergency room due to Chorioamnionitis and major signs of Preeclampsia very abruptly at 38 weeks - Emilee dropped everything and came to the hospital at 4am to help prepare me for our c-section and get my fiancé through the process as well. Without her - we truly wouldn't haven't been able to emotionally handle the cards we were dealt but she helped us feel confident in every decision being made and of course was there while we brought our daughter into the world. I highly recommend Emilee, her emotional support as well as her incredibly intelligence with pregnancy & postpartum care is unmatched. Choosing a doula is a wonderful thing but choosing Emilee is even more incredible, I've never felt more supported than I do with her. We are now in our postpartum care and she is there with any answers to all of my thousands of questions as a first time mom and we are so thankful for her care and support. She is incredibly dedicated to this profession and stands above all others. You will not regret working with her, she's amazing!
