Choosing Ariel to be my doula was the best decision I made during my pregnancy. Ariel is such a warm and loving person and you can feel how passionate she is about being a doula. My husband and I are first time parents and Ariel was OUR rock throughout the whole process. She thoroughly explained what to expect and addressed all of our questions and concerns in a kind and nonjudgmental way. She always created a safe space for us during our sessions together and was always quick to respond when she wasn’t around. Ariel followed through with every plan and request when I went into labor and knew what to do when things didn’t go exactly as planned. She kept my husband calm while I was in labor and also created such a serene space for me - our nurse even commented on how relaxing our room was! I will never forget hearing Ariel’s voice during the peak of my contractions because it was her voice that calmed me down and helped me breathe through the discomfort every time. I loved that Ariel checked in on us after labor too because she helped me work through some emotional baggage I was still carrying from labor. I truly feel that Ariel is a beautiful person and she made such a positive impact on my pregnancy journey. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who needs a doula!

Amy was my Doula for both of my children. My oldest was during the covid pandemic when she was not allowed to be with us in person during the birth. However she was readily available through phone or video chat as we needed. Even talking to the nurses and DRs while they were in the room with us. I attempted to try and deliver naturally with my oldest but being older they would not let me go past my due date so I was scheduled for an induction. After over 24 hours of labor and him not dropping I made the very emotional decision for a C-section. I have a very big phobia if those and Amy was there for me making pro and con lists and helping me come to grips with the decision I needed to bring my almost 12 lb boy into the world. Afterwards she was there to help me through post partum blues and dealing with a traumatic c section that I have no doubt she would have been able to prevent had she been allowed to be there or by phone/video during as they did not honor any of my wishes.
With my second I had some health complications and she was showing large too so we made the decision to have a scheduled C-section. Amy was there for me through all of that decision making, heartache, second guessing, and dealing with trauma from my first. Amy helped me stand up for myself and make sure my wishes were honored. Held my hand and calmed me down when I started crying and shaking in fear. She was mine and my partners rock. Again she was there post partum for me...which was not nearly as bad with the much better experience I had. In large thanks to her presence.
Amy is an amazing human who does not judge and will help support you with whatever decisions you make, even if they change late in the game as both of mine did.

I had Amy Kit as my doula for my homebirth and would highly recommend her! She was so helpful and flexible with whatever we needed from encouragement, constantly bringing me water, assisting my partner during labor, spoon feeding me soup and putting my clothes and things together for when I needed to go to the hospital for stitches. I will never birth without a doula after my experience with her and though I don't plan on having any more, if I did I'd 100% be giving her a call!!

Ariel was a wonderful, grounding presence through the pregnancy! We kept continuous communication through out via text and FaceTime an d phone calls. My birth partner was also able to be included. She taught us about several things to do during the birth, and even provided me with some videos she had made of meditations to use. I had a precipitous birth and so she was not able to make it, but she was so attentive afterwards, checking in often on me and baby, and with helping me with loving kindness towards myself which was so helpful in post partum. She also provided some extra care via Thai massage which was absolutely amazing with all my PP pains, highly recommend that to new mothers. She also kept me in light spirits with our ability to joke with each other. Her love for the birth space is evident in all that she does.
