We were on the fence about hiring a doula, but after speaking with Christie we knew it would be a great fit. She offers such a warm, supportive presence—exactly what we were looking for as first-time parents. Her pre-birth sessions were both educational and empowering, and she gave us practical pain management techniques that helped us feel confident going into labor. As my due date approached (and then passed!), her regular check-ins over text and phone helped us stay calm and grounded.

When it was time to go in for our induction, Christie went above and beyond. She stayed with us at the hospital for over 30 hours! I truly don’t know how I could have done it without her. She made sure I was comfortable, offered pain management, helped my husband support me, advocated for us with our medical team, and coached me through pushing. We are so deeply thankful for her care and dedication—Christie was such an important part of our birth experience.

Christie was the doula for my second pregnancy. I had a difficult labor for my first one, that's why I decided to hire a Doula for my second pregnancy. I talked to several doulas before I decided to choose Christie. She has many outstanding qualities which made her my ideal choice. I explained to her my expectations and the issues that I faced during first labor when I talked to her the first time. She helped me at every step. She was there to virtually support whenever I went to the doctors appointment in the last month. She is familiar with many pain management techniques to help during labor. She's very friendly, diligent and hardworking. I would highly recommend her as a doula.

I had an incredible experience having Christie Grover as my doula. I have a history of pelvic floor issues and had significant anxiety surrounding the idea of childbirth, and I'm so grateful I had Christie with me during labor and delivery. Christie made sure I was always informed without ever pressuring me to make any specific choices. She explained what was happening to my body in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel at ease. During my first few hours of contractions, Christie kept me active, encouraging me to labor on the ball and keep myself upright and moving so gravity could work in my favor. She also encouraged my husband to play a role in my labor, helping him ease my contractions by applying counter pressure. These are all things I would have never known to do had Christie not been there. 

Christie always made me feel heard and cared for. While I was pushing, she was motivating and positive, and it was great to feel like there was someone in the room focusing mostly on me. Christie has stayed in touch with our family, has visited our baby, and checked in on me several times once I was home and recovering. 

I cannot recommend Christie enough. I hope to use Christie's services in the future should we have more children.
