My wife and I couldn't imagine going through the birthing process without Allison!! Having Allison by our side to welcome our son into the world was truly a pleasure. From planning, communication, expertise and just overall dedication she made the birth of our son a wonderful experience!

I was blessed to get the opportunity to work with both Allison & Monica. (Allison during pregnancy, Monica during labor) The Lord knew I needed both of them on this journey. From the beginning we first met with Allison during pregnancy. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did during pregnancy. The prenatal meetings are so important. She was comforting with my concerns where my husband and I had our son 8 years ago via unnecessary C-section. She helped me process that birth. She was peaceful, informative, genuine and passionate. I felt heard while meeting with her. I looked forward to our meetings and enjoyed the fellowship time to sit together. I didn’t understand during pregnancy how important these meetings truly were until reflecting on my labor. She had prepared me for labor months in advance and I’m so so grateful. She prepared me by showing me that I have a voice and don’t be afraid to fight for yourself/the birth you are desiring. Even though she wasn’t at my labor like we had planned, she was still definitely in the room because of the confidence she had helped me with during pregnancy. My heart desired so badly to have a natural, unmedicated VBAC. Allison was supportive of this and helped encourage me that my body was made for this and could do it! I am so grateful that in meeting with her I wasn’t scared or timid about what I wanted in labor. She taught me so much during the pregnancy that I was able to ask for the things I desired in labor. If I hadn’t met with her during pregnancy I wouldn’t have known what to advocate for and watch for so I didn’t get pushed into another unnecessary C-section. She believed in me from the beginning even when I didn’t believe in myself.

I met Allison just eight days before baby arrived at 39+3. I reached out because as a first-time mom, I was feeling anxious about the healthcare system and felt the need for a third-party advocate in the room. Allison provided this and so much more!

Her 11th-hour package was perfect for our situation. Quite literally 24 hours after our first and only prenatal appointment, I was in early labor. When I texted her at 4am concerned by a symptom, she assured me this was normal and to get some rest. Her experience and knowledge put both me and my husband at ease during those moments of uncertainty. The next night, she advised us when it was appropriate to go to the hospital to avoid extended stay in triage. Once in labor & delivery, she recognized when we needed anything from more socks to nitrous oxide to a position change and worked with the nurse team to get it done. This allowed my husband and me to stay present in the labor and undistracted by managing practical needs. In the fog of labor, she was a calm, professional, experienced helping hand. I do not believe I could have made it through unmedicated without her suggestions for new strategies & coping mechanisms right when I needed them. When all was said and done, I felt we had gained a true friend and partner in the process.

A Doula’s support is something you truly don’t know you need until you have it; a lot of times you hear that the husband or partner should be playing this role of intermediary and advocate. But when the time came, I wanted my husband by my side, fully present & helping me work through every contraction - not calling a nurse, stepping into the waiting room to update family, or (the worst) googling something scary in the middle or labor! For us, that extra support person made all the difference. We will definitely be coming back to Allison next time around (and not in the 11th hour!).

After a less than desirable birthing experience with my first child, I went into this pregnancy knowing how important it was to have someone truly in my corner—someone who would support me, advocate for me, and help me have the experience I had been hoping for.

Finding Allison was such a blessing.

From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, heard, and understood. She held space for my fears from my first birth while helping me rebuild confidence and trust in my body again. That alone meant more to me than I can put into words.

During labor and delivery, her presence was everything. She brought a sense of calm and grounding into the room that I didn’t even realize I needed. When things felt overwhelming, she helped center me. When I doubted myself, she reminded me of my strength. I never felt alone—not for a second.

Because of her, I was able to have a completely different experience this time—one where I felt empowered, supported, and truly cared for.

And even after birth, she didn’t just disappear. She continued to check in, to support me, and to make sure I was okay during such a tender and vulnerable time.

I can say with my whole heart that my birth experience was better because of Allison. I will forever be grateful for the way she showed up for me during one of the most important moments of my life.

Allison was a calm, confident, and consistent presence throughout my pregnancy, labor and delivery journey. Because this was my first pregnancy, I knew there was so much I didn't know on what to expect and how to prepare. I was so grateful for the way she assisted me in developing my birth preferences, and then following through by serving as an advocate of them when I was finally in labor.  

When it was go-time, Allison was incredible in coaching my husband on how to offer me support. She helped me make hard decisions that honored my preferences and needs when things were not going as planned. She kept such a positive and hopeful attitude, helping create a peaceful birth atmosphere that I so deeply desired.

Allison was so supportive from start to finish - even into post- partum! I am SO glad I hired her to be apart of my birth team!

I can't imagine my birth story without  Allison in it. The confidence and assurance I had with her being by my side was priceless. There were several moments throughout my birth experience when the questions/concerns were overwhelming and I could just look at her and know she'd have an answer. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Allison! She brought such a calm, nurturing, and reassuring presence to our home. Those early weeks after bringing a baby home can feel overwhelming, but she helped turn that time into one of peace, confidence, and healing. She not only cared for our baby with such gentleness and skill, but she also cared for me, reminding me to rest, eat, and assisting in navigating the emotions, and mental toll of postpartum. She truly made me feel completely supported whether through support with our girl or just a needed conversation. Allison is extremely knowledgeable about newborn care and postpartum recovery, but also just genuinely compassionate. Thanks to her, I was able to recover well, and feel confident stepping into mothering three. She took so much weight of my shoulders through her work.

If you’re considering hiring a postpartum doula, you won’t find someone better than Allison. She’s a true gift during the beauty, vulnerable and hard days of postpartum.

Allison has such a calm and peaceful presence.  When she arrived at my house during labor, she immediately jumped in and helped me thru my contractions.  Allison truly cares about her clients and helps support them thru the birth they desire.

So thankful we made the decision to use Allison. She was a silent guardian angel in the delivery room. Helping my husband know how to best help me while she juggled keeping the nurses informed and minimized interruptions during labor. When I needed her directly she always seemed to know and was right there helping me choose new positions to get baby out quickly and smoothly. Truly had my perfect birth thanks to Allison.
