I am so glad we had Lindsay to lean on during my birth experience. She was able to provide helpful guidance and reassurance before, during, and after labor. My partner was grateful for her assistance with support techniques for me while I was laboring, and we were both glad to have her as a sounding board and voice of comfort throughout. She also brought items to help create a soothing environment in the hospital room!

Lindsey was great. Very supportive of my wife helped with positions and was very knowledgeable. She brought tea candles that made the mood very zen rather than the harsh hospital lighting.

Lindsay was an absolute God send for my family and I. I needed postpartum help with overnight baby care and Lindsay immediately made me feel at ease. She's natural and very talented with newborns. My son was very well cared for and I would recommend Lindsay 100% to anyone in need of postpartum services. She provided emotional support to me as well and I am very grateful.

Would I recommend a Doula for a birth? Absolutely. Would I recommend Lindsey? A thousand times yes.
Lindsey is communicative, knowledgeable, kind. She supported us in many ways - from making sure I had reference material, to knowing I could message her with any questions, concerns, venting. I really appreciate the opportunity to have a neutral party to that's not family or friends to bounce ideas/thoughts off of. For me, I'm a pretty independent person when it comes with dealing with things, so I was in my head a lot meditating and using mantras - but I think for us - her helping guide myself husband on things to do for me was very invaluable. Dad, while they show it or not, are usually anxious for their wife and soon to be child. Anything can happen and there's not much they have control over, so having someone to distract/coach/ etc is really helpful.
At one point, I was maybe 2.5 hours away from delivering and I realized we needed a cooler so I could save my placenta. We didn't have any friends who could be available and I didn't want my husband leaving just incase things went faster than anticipated. Lindsey offered to go get it since I was in a good place with my epidural and didn't need physical support at that moment. I really appreciated that so my husband could stay with me.
The only thing I would have done different would be getting a doula sooner. I didn't think it was in the cards for me for this birth - so I ended up getting her services about a month and a half prior to birth. But I'm so glad I did.
I would 100% rate Lindsey 10/10! Looking forward to my postnatal visit
