Working with a birth doula was something I was on the fence about. This was my first pregnancy so I felt nervous about childbirth. I knew I wanted to do an unmedicated birth too and when I told this first to my OBGYN, she said "I recommend hiring a doula". Then when I switched providers, my midwives also said the same thing. So I do what I normally do and did a lot of research, weighing the pros and cons. I came to the conclusion that I will only give birth once maybe twice in my lifetime, and I decided that hiring a birth doula was a worthwhile investment. I started reaching out to doulas in my area (10 to be exact) and started interviewing them. Hailey was quick to respond and schedule a meeting which I really appreciated. After my first meeting with Hailey I knew she was the doula I wanted to work with but I kept interviewing to make sure. After each interaction, I felt Hailey was still the doula I wanted to work with. While she might have had less years as a doula underneath her belt, she had the knowledge and confidence of the seasoned doulas that I met with. Furthermore, her caring nature and professionalism really appealed to me. I was so excited to ask her if she could be my birth doula. Working with her made me feel so much more informed and ready for my unmedicated birth. She helped me through moments where I felt uncertain and offered me an unbiased perspective. She offered me helpful tools that helped me during my birth and I will forever be grateful for her support. She puts a lot of thought and care into her work and I feel anyone would be lucky to have the opportunity to work with her. If I do end up having a second baby, I'd 100% work with Hailey again.

We had a great experience with Hailey as our doula and would recommend her to anyone! Hailey is a very kind, personable, and compassionate person who was easy to welcome into our home and lives. She is extremely knowledgable in all things birthing and did a great job educating us about all of the decisions and options that we had to consider for our first pregnancy and birth. She never pushed us one way or another but simply laid out all the pros and cons and let us come to our own conclusions.

She provided emotional support during our visits and helped keep me in a good mindset about my birth and birth plan. When labor started at home, it was so nice to have someone experienced to reach out to until we were ready to go to the hospital.

When it came time to deliver our baby, I felt so much more confident having Hailey there. I knew I wanted a medicated hospital birth and Hailey was there with us the entire time. She was very hands on and incredibly helpful when we had to do position work to try and turn our baby before delivery.

Hailey also followed up after the birth with a home visit which couldn’t have come at a better time. Her emotional and physical support and calming presence helped during the postpartum period.

I reached out to Hailey following a difficult birth and a hard postpartum. I had been feeling nervous about connecting with my body and cesarean scar due to the memories and trauma attached to it, and after speaking with Hailey she recommended a post birth ritual and belly binding session. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how transformative this experience was for me. Hailey was so kind, so gentle, and she helped ground me and the experience in a way that felt incredibly safe and connective. I was really nervous to reconnect with some of the emotions and memories around my birth, but Hailey truly set the tone for a safe and supported way to process and move through those really hard feelings. She gave me a womb massage which felt very therapeutic and informative. She lead me on a guided meditation specific to postpartum that she had written (writing this now I am tearing up remembering how cathartic this felt). And after a big emotional release, she bound my belly so that I left the experience feeling wrapped in a snug and safe little cocoon. I truly felt a huge emotional shift during this experience and do not think I could have gotten to that space without her. Anyone would be so lucky to have Hailey's support throughout any stage of pregnancy, birth, or postpartum.

Haylie truly made my birth expiernce the best it could've possibly been. Although I thought I was prepared for labor, I wanted to give up so many times and each time Haylie was there to reassure me and calm me down. Everytime someone asks about my labor/delivery I mentioned how I genuinely would not have survived without Haylie. Not only is she amazing at what she does, I have also gained a great friend!

I don't even know where to start, Hailey was everything I could have imagined and more. The fact that you can tell she has a genuine love for birth is infectious and makes you feel so warm and confident, which increased the love for my birth journey even more. She's a wealth of knowledge, and as someone who is so indecisive, I really leaned into that when we were in the trenches of labor when choices needed to be made. But I never once felt pressured to make a decision based on her opions, she gave things to me 'matter of fact', making sure I was the sole person to decide how I wanted things to progress. Her vibe is incredible. It's comforting, nurturing, calming, laid back, funny, etc. She made sure the spaces I labored in weren't so overstimulating which really helped me focus on grinding through the contractions. I also valued how respectful and aware she was of knowing when to let my husband labor and spend quality time with me and when to step in to either help him or give him a break. I honestly thought I was going to go into labor with so much stress and anxiety, but didn't experience any of that with Hailey around! She did an amazing job keeping me grounded and focusing on the journey of staying healthy and safe for myself and my baby. I couldn't imagine what my experience would have been like without her. She 1000% will be there for any future births. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Hailey has been absolutely amazing for our family! I do not know how I would have been surviving post-partum without her. She really listens to your needs and respects how you like things to make the physical and mental load not feel so heavy! Also she is great with children and willing to learn new tasks. My situation is unique because my son was in the NICU for 2 months and has medical needs. Hailey still held him and not intimidated by his tube. I really appreciate her and feel blessed to have her as our doula! I always look forward to her coming back!

As someone who struggles with being emotionally and physically vulnerable, birth is something that I've always been afraid of. In fact, when I found out that I was pregnant, hiring a doula was not even a conversation that my husband and I were planning on having. In hindsight, hiring Hailey to be our doula was one of the best decisions that we could've made. Hailey is an incredible coach in every sense of the word. She gave us the advice that we needed in early labor of resting and getting sleep, which set us up for success in active labor and delivery. She helped prepare our home and really set the mood so that it was a comfortable and relaxing environment for all of us. When things started to get difficult, Hailey had different tactics and plans to keep things moving and to help me understand what was going on at that point in my labor. I never once questioned why she was suggesting certain things because they just seemed to make sense and ultimately did help the process. Hailey kept a calm demeanor throughout the entire 20+ hours that we spent together and made me feel like I was capable of anything. She was an amazing addition to my birth team, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone preparing for birth or looking for postpartum support.
