So hard to convey what an overwhelmingly positive impact Cassidy had on my labor. Originally I thought that after all the classes and research I didn’t need a doula (oh how wrong I was!) but luckily at 38 weeks I started to feel like more support might be beneficial.  I interviewed a few doulas but didn’t click with any of them, until two friends separately recommended Cassidy. One call with my husband and I, and we knew we’d found our doula! Cassidy was very kind, sweet, nurturing but at the same time assertive and confident in her skills, exactly what I needed.  I was planning to give birth naturally at hospital, so my concern was about managing the hospital protocols and interventions. When my labor started Cassidy came early to Cedars-Sinai, and was there by my side for the entire 22 hours. She created a powerful team with my husband and together they provided the unwavering support that I needed. I didn’t have it easy. My baby girl wasn’t ideally positioned, being sunny side up, making the pushing stage long and painful. That’s where Cassidy really was crucial - she teamed up with my husband, nurses and my doctor and together for 8(!!!) hours we pushed. I gave birth naturally, without an epidural or the need for c-section.  Cassidy won the confidence of the hospital staff and my doctor, and this reassured them to have the patience to allow me to stay on my natural birth plan.  It became clear to me later that with my waters having broken, the timeline made a c-section the most probable outcome for my birth in hospital. I highly recommend Cassidy to anyone thinking about using a doula. You’ll get a friend who will be supporting you through it all, no matter how long it takes, no matter how hard it gets. My birth story ended up being on my terms simply because I had the best team. I’m forever grateful for Cassidy, who will forever be a huge part of bringing me my healthy happy baby girl.

I can't say enough amazing things about Cass!! As a doula myself I knew I was looking for someone special for my 3rd and final baby. I needed someone who could let me lead but know when to step in and take over. She immediately made me feel comfortable from the moment we met on FaceTimed and was exactly what my husband and I needed every moment of the labor! She is kind, knowledgeable, intuitive, respectful, and fun! I would recommend Cass to anyone looking for a doula!

Cassidy helped support the birth of our second child in June of 2024. She was a calming presence and also provided excellent physical support when I hit transition. She helped keep my husband and I focused when things got a bit concerning and ultimately we were able to have a beautiful vaginal birth and a healthy baby boy. 

Cassidy was excellent with communication throughout my pregnancy as well. I was able to text her when labor began and she intuitively knew when it was time to join us. 

I would definitely recommend Cassidy to any family who is looking for a doula who is practical and logical while also supporting the trust and intuition and ability to do amazing things during birth. Cassidy is a supportive and calming presence and she was a valued part of our birth experience.

If you're looking for a person to come along side you who is so kind, knowledgeable, patient, supportive and will advocate for you, Cassidy is your doula. She was helpful with teaching us information even about the birth process, assisted us with stretching and ways to support us through the laboring process. We loved her approach and how she wants to learn about you and what you want your birth to be like and will advocate for that. We know things don't go as planned sometimes, and even after us deciding to go have a c-section while at the hospital, she was still present for us and our son. It was so helpful having Cassidy for support and made the whole experience so enjoyable (lol) as first time parents!! I think the extra support, advocacy and love in the room really made a huge difference.

Words can't really describe how it feels to feel so supported by Cassidy during the most vulnerable and intense moment of my life. We clicked right away and I loved how she kept it real, but also was sweet and nurturing. An incredible listener. We game planned my plan and met three times prior to labor. When I went into labor she showed up at my house and had many tricks to help me feel as relaxed as possible. I had an extremely long and hard labor and she did not waiver for one moment. Her and husband traded off helping to sooth my back pain during contractions (back unmedicated labor). She helped advocate for me and allowed me to soften when I needed to and push when I needed the strength. She knows what she's doing and I'll never forget how lucky I was to have her.
