Arri was amazingly helpful as a postpartum doula while my son was in the newborn phase. My husband and I are first time parents, and we were definitely struggling with learning how to take care of the baby while doing chores to make sure the household was still running. Arri was so helpful with both! She has a wonderfully calm and patient demeanor, and would rock and shush my baby to sleep for more than an hour when my husband and I were at our wit's end. She's also an incredible cook and helped meal prep delicious, nourishing meals that helped keep us going. Laundry, tidying up, putting away my son's clothes...she did so much to support us, which helped us stay sane. Plus, she is a joy to have around and talk to - especially during those isolating first postpartum months. If you are thinking you might need just a little extra help after birth, don't hesitate! Arri will be such a great support to you. I'd recommend her to anyone!

As a first-time mom who planned for an unmedicated vaginal delivery, it was important for me to have a doula. We chose Arri to support us and deliver our baby girl in early September. It was such a pleasure to work with her and have her be by our side in the last trimester; it made me feel so confident that we can tackle anything that comes our way.

Arri was such a calm spirit, very knowledgeable about all the techniques that my husband and I can use throughout the last month of pregnancy. We learned a lot through the initial meetings, and she validated that we were learning the right things in our research and classes. Her hands-on approach to showing us laboring positions and also all the tips and tricks to having the house ready for our newborn was so useful!

Having Arri on call and responsive via text during my last few weeks was important to have a knowledgeable voice, guiding me and my husband through every step of the way. She coached and guided me through my labor contractions and help us move through early laboring at home, to sending ourselves to Sharp March Birch.

Having Arri there for the delivery was exactly what I hoped for, a grounding person who wasn’t one of the multiple nurses and doctors who were buzzing in and out of the room. She knew my birth preferences, and supported my husband and I throughout the entire experience and was there with us from start to finish all the way through the recovery room.

I had the pleasure of working with Arri during the delivery of my baby last spring, and I can’t recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she was calm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She came to meet me and my mom at my home before the birth, took time to answer all our questions, and made me feel truly supported and heard.

Even though my birth plan changed—I was induced and ended up needing an emergency C-section—Arri was there for me through it all and available through text before she arrived at the hospital. She didn’t push any particular approach or judgment, and she supported me fully in every decision I made.

Arri has a very grounding energy—she’s gentle, easy to talk to, and deeply reassuring. I’m so grateful she was part of my journey, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a calm, compassionate, and knowledgeable support person through pregnancy and delivery.

I was referred to Arri by my prenatal yoga instructor who gave me a list of doulas. I contacted 3 doulas, but Arri stood out to me the most. She was very responsive through text and calling and set up a face to face meeting to get to know her better. This was for my first birth. Her voice was calming on the phone and I knew that this was important to me during birth to have a calming presence. Arri came to my house and gave me a thorough explanation of the services she provided. We walked through my birth plan and she was very knowledgeable about the birthing process. She was able to tailor my needs for a doula and meet me at an agreeable price. Arri would check in on me through texts and calls following up to the birth. On the day of, she met me at the hospital (what we agreed upon) and the moment she got there, she was actively helping me through my labor pains. I was planning on doing an unmedicated birth and through each contraction, Arri was there coaching me through hypnobirthing breathing exercises and giving me my juice and snacks to keep me hydrated. When my pain was unbearable, she'd come up with another solution by changing up my position or giving me back massages/squeezing my hips. At times, I felt like giving up, but she was very encouraging. She followed through with my birth plan, but also supported me when I had to make certain decisions. She encouraged me to be my own advocate and she'd help me by making sure the decision I made was truly the one I wanted. I also felt very comfortable around her, she has a calming presence but is flexible and can be energetic/uplifting when you need it. My whole birth/labor was long and lasted 26 hours and she was there from 3pm to 9am the next day! I couldn't have done it without her and I truly appreciate what she does. She is amazing, very knowledgeable, and compassionate. I would hire her again for my next baby.
