Sonja is extremely competent and communicative.  Her attentive, skilled bedside manner made me feel like I was in the best hands and made my recovery process easier.  I would highly recommend her without any hesitation.

I wish I had Sonja as my doula for my first baby!  She is extremely knowledgeable and empathetic.  Her experienece as a mother of two as well as an RN shows through her skillful techniques and advice.  I reccomend Sonja for first time or experieneced mothers!

My partner is currently expecting twins. I am so grateful that Sonja will be there in the weeks after the birth. In the meantime, Sonja has already been such a resource. I know my partner trusts her deeply given Sonja's training and ongoing work as a nurse. Sonja is a parent herself and also someone who has a very serious day job (unless, that is, she is working nights!). She knows that expecting and recent parents have questions outside of regular business hours and is super responsive via text. She helped us put together a registry, as well.

What I appreciate about Sonja--and what I think may set her apart from many others--is the way she works with both joy and a no-nonsense energy while remaining empathetic and supportive. She approaches her work with seriousness, but also with a sense of true excitement and FUN that I think is often missing amid endless medical appointments and planning. I am thrilled that Sonja decided to pursue work as a doula in addition to her nursing career. Many parents--and their children--will benefit enormously.
