Emma was truly everything we hoped for in a doula and so much more. From the moment we connected, she brought a sense of calm, support, and genuine care that carried us through the entire journey.

She checked in regularly during my pregnancy—not just about logistics, but about how I was really doing, especially during the tougher times like bed rest and stressful moments. Her emotional support meant the world.

During labor, Emma was an incredible advocate. In moments of chaos when my partner and I were focused on contractions or the intensity of labor, she gently spoke up for us, ensuring our preferences were heard. She offered a variety of counter-pressure techniques and comfort measures, always encouraging us to try what felt right.

When contractions were at their peak, she was literally a hand to hold—steady, reassuring, and present. She even managed to capture beautiful photos throughout the experience, allowing us to stay in the moment while preserving memories we’ll cherish forever.

Emma also visited us postpartum, taking time to address every concern and question with kindness and care. She encouraged both me and my husband through each stage with warmth, knowledge, and compassion.

We’re so thankful we had Emma by our side—her presence was a true gift, and we couldn’t imagine this experience without her.

It was an absolute joy and blessing to have Emma with me during my birth. My spouse was deployed and I knew I wanted the assistance of a doula. I interviewed several doulas and on my first visit with Emma, I had no doubts that I found my support person. We had 2 appointments prior to labor that made me feel reassured that we were on the same page come labor. I early labored for 2 days and kept her updated while she provided me comfort and support over the phone. Once my contractions became rhythmic we met at the hospital and she was by far the best person to have with me at this time. I had to wait 45 mins until I could get an epidural but she had no problem helping me through transitions. She was able to capture pictures for my husband too. Once my son was here, she stayed to make sure we were settled in and safe. Also verifying breastfeeding was well established. We had another follow up appointment once we returned home and I'm just so happy she could be a part of one of the most beautiful days of my life.

Emma was honestly such a blessing to have during my birth. I sought her out a little close to the end of my pregnancy but that did not deter her and she still made it a point to make sure I had all appointments with her before I gave birth. She has so much knowledge and was so kind and caring from the very beginning. She instantly put me at ease, as this was my first pregnancy and I wanted to have my baby naturally, even though many people said I couldn't do it. With her help I was able to give birth naturally to my baby boy and she was such a help during my active labor. She helped guide my husband in ways that he could help and support me, which I know meant a lot to him. She gave me unbiased information and knowledge to help me with my personal choices, whether it be about my birth or the aftercare. In our appointments she came prepared with her own notes and topics to discuss that I never even thought of which was incredibly helpful and made me feel even more prepared. I'm so glad I met her and got to have be a part of my birth story. She gave me strength and reassurance, which all mamas need.

My husband and I are so grateful to Emma for being my doula during the birth of  our 5th child. The year leading up to this pregnancy, and during the pregnancy leading up to the birth, had been an emotionally taxing time for me- leaving me feeling very vulnerable and anxious about this birth. I knew I really needed someone to help me navigate this birth because, unlike the past births, I was totally unsure of myself even though I had done this four times before. Immediately upon reaching out to to Emma I felt much more at ease. She is a genuinely kind and caring woman; even before becoming her client she showed genuine interest and concern for my situation. Although I was very close to being due, she took me on as a client and helped me prepare. Emma is a wealth of information when it comes to birth. Even after going through labor, delivery, and postpartum a few times, my scattered-brain had overlooked many things; I was grateful for our appointments where we discussed  all aspects of the birthing process; much of which I hadn't considered this time around. I love that she would share resources and information without being pushy one way or another, but rather she was understanding and supportive of my decisions. When we were actually in the hospital and I was laboring she provided the support in exactly the way we had discussed in our appointment. I had deviated from my birth plan a couple times and I appreciate her making sure I was making decisions that I truly wanted and not just  making rash decisions in vulnerable moment. She also helped me remember things I had nearly forgotten to mention to or ask the doctor and/or nurses about. Overall, I feel so blessed that she was open to working with me, and by my side helping make the birth of my daughter a beautiful and positive experience.
