Jenny was the perfect addition to the birth team I had through a birth center. During our first call, she had a sense of warmth and strength that felt right. Throughout my pregnancy, Jenny was someone I always depended on for prompt responses. Jenny frequently reached out to me to check-in and give me resources. I'm grateful for the way Jenny helped prepare me for labor with my husband. All her questions and coaching ensured that she was giving me the best to feel completely empowered going into my first child's birth. My husband also very much appreciated her presence during pregnancy and in labor. Whenever I had something that was on my mind, he would say "why don't you ask Jenny?" and every answer I got back was detailed and thoughtful. One of the things I had on my mind was related to my birth plan. I was 40 weeks pregnant and if I wanted this for our baby, we need to get it quick. Jenny went out of her way to make sure that it was a possible option for me even with the short amount of time. Jenny truly is an amazing individual that found all the best ways to be there for me before and during our baby coming earthside. While I was hoping for a waterbirth, we had to pivot and do what was best for me and baby after a labor that turned out to be much longer than we anticipated. She had all the positions for me and understood that I just needed to keep moving. As uncomfortable as it may have been to be fully exposed in labor while completing a "circuit" naked, I felt no shame and knew we were all after the same goals of getting our baby here. Jenny was by my side from the moment I texted her at 3am Saturday morning and until our baby joined us at 6am on Sunday morning. She made the experience of bringing our boy to the world a very powerful and unforgettable journey.

Both my husband and I were incredibly grateful to have Jenny by our side before, during, and after the birth of our second daughter. From day one, she guided us through preparation and planning with thoughtful advice and helpful resources, all while truly listening to and honoring our wishes for our ideal birth experience.

My husband especially appreciated having someone there to suggest and remind him of ways to support me throughout the long labor. I was deeply thankful for her support as well—when the intensity of labor made it impossible to remember everything I had researched, Jenny was there to gently guide us both. Her hands on approach to the birth process was incredibly helpful. She believed in me when I doubted myself, encouraged me when I felt like giving up, and helped me push through moments I didn’t think I could handle. She was a calm, steady presence, a motivating coach, and a fierce advocate who ensured my voice and wishes were respected throughout my delivery. Having Jenny by our side made all the difference, and we will always be thankful for her.

Jenny was an amazing doula! My first birth was an emergency C-section and I knew for this second one that I wanted a natural vaginal birth, if possible. I found Jenny through a recommendation and I'm so happy I did. She was so helpful and supportive through the whole experience. Jenny was always very responsive to any text I sent and made sure that any questions I had were answered. She was very knowledgeable and sent me a lot of resources to help me prepare for birth and also postpartum and breastfeeding. She was very thorough with the birth plan and made sure the room was relaxing and how I wanted during labor. She helped my husband support me through contractions and we even had a couple laughs. My nurse also complimented her and said it was so nice having a doula there that actually helped and was involved. I was able to have the unmedicated vaginal birth that I dreamed of thanks to Jenny!

Jenny is very down to earth. I was looking for someone to help me through labor as a first time mom that made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the process and that's Jenny. She even created a workbook for me to review as a visual learner. It was so nice to have her flexibility and skill set on paper so I could review before and after appointments. I feel like she really met my husband and I where we were in all stages of the process.

Jenny was amazing throughout my time working with her. She listened to what was important to my husband and I and helped create a birth plan with our specific wants. I first looked into a doula with my 3rd pregnancy to have more options for natural pain control techniques and to help guide my husband as my support person. Jenny delivered on all these things. She was easy to get a hold of with questions prior to the birth and was a great support even before we went into the hospital. During labor she was super hands on and gave great suggestions of what might be helpful next and showed my husband how to do the different techniques so he could be involved. She was collaborative with the hospital staff and helped make the environment calm but kept us laughing throughout too. I am so appreciative to Jenny in helping us meet our son!

From the time we officially knew Jenny was our doula, she would always reach out to see how I was doing. She'd give advice and resources to help me through situations or calm anxiety. She would set up phone calls to talk about a birth plan and answer questions I had. I was a first time mom and her expertise as a mom x3 plus helping several other moms and going through a doula class, she was able to give me sound advice that I could rely on. The day of my sons birth, I called Jenny at 4:30 am and she answered right away. She asked me questions about contractions and we made a game plan. She kept in touch as contractions progressed and made her way to meet us. She was already at the hospital by the time we arrived. As soon as we got to the room, she was unpacking all of her tools while the nurses were settling me. She had a speaker, a wooden comb, many different essential oils that helped sooth, a wrap to help with counter pressure, and meditation guides. She helped instruct my husband how to best support me and talked me through different positions for best progression. I was having back labor and she helped me get in a position that moved baby so it felt better. I didn't know what to do or what I wanted but Jenny helped guide me. She helped me with breastfeeding afterwards and looked into possible tongue ties or other issues my son may have had. Jenny continued to check up on us postpartum. She was there for me and my son. Jenny is thoughtful and caring. Her presence is calm and reassuring. She is knowledgeable and helpful. We were all so lucky to have her be part of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
